Netflix from £2.52 per month (Using Turkish / Mexico / Canada VPN) Guide @ Netflix

Well, the Spotify thread seems to have been popular, and I've received a ton of requests for a Netflix equivalent.

Done a bit of homework and should be able to save you all a few quid. The monthly price I've posted is the current currency conversion, so may fluctuate, but will save you some money compared to the UK price.

The cheapest countries are currently Turkey, Mexico, Canada, Argentina & Brazil, with Turkey and Mexico being the cheapest of the lot.

Turkey 2.55 £/ 15.99TRY
Mexico 4.03 £ / MXN109

Standard :
Turkey 4.47 £ / 27.99TRY
Mexico 5.51 £ / MXN149

Premium :
Turkey 6.39 £ / 39.99TRY
Mexico 7.36 £ / MXN199

You'll need a VPN for this, we have loads to choose from in our mega-thread HERE

So... Lets get started!

1. Connect a VPN to Turkey / Mexico / Canada.
2. Visit Netflix.com and create / login a new account.
3. Prices in foreign currencies are displayed.
4. Select the desired package> pay by credit card
(Only credit card / prepaid card / virtual card work at the moment)
Possible free virtual / physical prepaid credit cards can be used such as Revolut

Once you get signed up, billing should auto renew each month, without the need to continue using the VPN

Note: VPN not directing you to the correct country version of Netflix? You may need to use another server / service (Confirmed working with TorGuard VPN and PIA so far)

Existing Customer? You can also "move" the account. Simply cancel and when it has expired, log in via another country server on your VPN, and complete signup for a new sub, all your settings / profiles/ watch list should be there when done.

Let us know how you all get on in the comments, as i'm sure different VPNs used may have little differences in the process, so share your experience with your fellow HUKD members and lets all save a few quid!

Free if you let someone pay for it
Not really checked recently, but I seem to remember Netflix cracking down when, for example, UK users were using their accounts with a US VPN. Would there be any problems with using the Turkey account with a UK IP?
Wish HotUKDeals allowed us to share the account with each other
if everyone did this netflix would think the uk doesn't have any users and our content would suffer. They block you from streaming from other countries content using a vpn. I think netflix is great value already and in this case I am happy to pay full price as I have been since they started in the uk

That was more for browsing the US version to watch their content. This is merely a workaround to allow you pay another countries sub fees for the UK content

looks like Netflix has no issues with using its global character to minimize the tax it pays in the UK (at least according to Financial Times- ft.com/con…bf4), can't see why I shouldn't
Would love to be able watching MUBI for that price.
Can someone do one of these for Premier league footy?
Can I still watch all the US and UK contents after signing up with Turkey account? Thank you
Hmm this is tempting. Guessing you need a fee free credit card to use it though? Unfortunately mine isn’t and I don’t really want to get dinged with foreign transaction charges every month, anyway around that?

I tried one of those 'accounts' on eBay and it's utterly useless (despite the seller having loads of good fb for it). Barely lasts a day before the log in stops working and when it does work it's sometimes too oversubscribed. To be fair they replace accounts no questions asked but it gets tiresome quick endlessly typing log in details in that don't work for more than 24 hours.

For those saying poor Netflix, well at least they get something this way, the only other way to cheaper Netflix is a shared account, which gives them nothing. It’s not exactly like they are struggling either!

This website suggests that there are 46% less films and tv shows than the UK on the Turkey Netflix.

There’s a cheap workaround for MUBI if you want.
Get a year membership (£44) to GFT
glasgowfilm.org/pla…ard

You could probably then flog the card and cinema tickets to someone on eBay in Glasgow & recoup the cost.
It’s a win-win for me as I regularly attend the GFT anyway.
I am connecting to the Turkish Netflix but getting EUR for some reason? How would I switch to Turkish Lira?

Doesn't matter as you see the UK catalogue (not the Turkish one).
Once registered do not use the VPN (or you will see their service).

Netflix allow you to use any local version and do not seem to care about users in different countries viewing the service overseas.
Worked a treat! Thanks
I already use Windscribe VPN to watch US Netflix from my UK account, so I think I'll look at transferring over to a Turkish subscription to bring the cost down.

No issues, FWIW, switching immediately between UK and US Netflix in minutes of each other.

Your VPN isn't working correctly, try another one.
How is this getting voted hot. Good luck with your foreign account. Don’t forget to setup vpn to use English content on your account.
Netflix are good at shutting access via vpn

Only five to ten GBP a month for a good one, wait a mo all those savings gone
I had a few months paying for the Columbia Netflix on my revolut but as I was using the UK and USA Netflix the account was soon found out, had a email and my account was suspended with 3 weeks left on it.
When you sign up for Netflix, does it not ask for your address details?

If so, when setting up a Turkish subscription, will it let me do so with a UK address?

You only use the VPN for 5 minutes whilst registering, so take a free trial.
Once registered and working DO NOT use the VPN and you get UK Netflix.

If worried about them suspending you, occasionally use a VPN to Turkey. But I've not had a problem in months of doing this.

PS this approach also works great for Deezer family accounts (£2.40 a month) :-)
You'll eventually get flagged as being UK if you only go on to view it from a UK IP. So you'd probably have to switch to the country you're pretending to be from now and then.
The whining wimps supporting corporate greed and the extremes of Capitalism on here are painful. Netflix is a huge company and and pays sod all tax even if no one in Britain subscribed to their service they'd still rake it in.
If you're too frightened too give this a try don't bother and don't bother posting.
The rest of us can enjoy cheap netflix.
Whats the cheapest and yet ok/reliable VPN for this sort of thing - never done it before hence a noob question - thanks.

I believe you only use the vpn to register, so any free one from the list above. Once account is set up you just sign in without vpn and look like you are visiting UK from your home country (country of membership)
You don't need to use a VPN after signing up unless you want region specific content

It's complicated:

1. Load Netflix on TV
2. Login with your account
3. Watch

Had a free month then paid for the second month, a week into that the account got suspended. I did get the full COP32,900 credited back to my Revolut a month later so actually ended up getting 5 weeks for free.
I do use AVG vpn about 2.50 gbp a month and so good so far never have any problems for months
Was someone on this thread asked if anyone was interested in sharing an account (and I was), but HUKD in their infinite wisdom decided to delete it if anyone does want to do something like this please pm as a 4 screen sub is a total waste for me as I'm the only one that uses it, but you have to have 4 screens for 4K thanks to Netflix daft tier system...
Just chip in with mates and get family one. We pay £27 a year each and it's like £2.25 a month for 4 people. No need to rely on Vpn. They're great for added content especially US stuff. But wouldn't wanna rely on Vpn everyone.i watched it.

Ah ok - many thanks.
And could I use my normal Credit card/paypal to pay - wary of the conversion charges?
