Been looking for this for a while as a mate has one. I know it's been cheaper by a couple of pounds before, but this is one of the best delivered prices I've seen at the moment. Great little device that lets you add more devices to your router. Just plug it in and off you go, no need to install.

Also a bonus if you happen to have the SKY Netgear Broadband Router as they match perfectly.

Play Description:

This powerful plug-and-play switch connects at 10 or 100 Mbps and makes it easy to link as many as five computers or peripherals to your Ethernet network. You'll experience maximum performance for 10 or 100 Mbps devices with five ports that automatically sense the correct speed while Auto Uplink on the ports adjusts for the different types of Ethernet cables. The FS605's sleek case has lights on the front for easy monitoring. Installation into your home network couldn't be simpler and, once powered on, it begins cool and silent operation - without an internal fan.

lots of cheaper alternatives on amazon too amazon.co.uk/s?i…rch
i dont see how a sky router would be a perfect match for this this should work with all routers that support 10/100Mbps.

true but for the home dlink and netgear are the best makes for network kit....linksys are ok, belkin are garbage

Worth Paying a few quid more and going for a Gigabit switch imo

Aesthetics I believe he means - they look the same possibly.

I looked at getting this switch- in the end I went for this one instead

Sits at the end of an ethernet cable from my Netgear router. I have my slingbox and my wii plugged into it, and it will let the wii stream using the iplayer whilst the slingbox streams out to another pc on the network.

yep, this is only 10/100 and all PC's and most NAS now have gigabit ports so its a poor choice of kit IMO

this is the sort of thing you can pick up for £5 off ebay anyway,
even quality corporate kit goes for pennies now

I like the iMac design of netgear but it is not HP

Not really, anyone wanting to connect a few PCs and an xbox 360 to the internet just won't have any need for a gigabit link.

Having said this £15.99 isnt a hot price for this item.
