Damn ebuyer with their ridiculous postage!

Postage should be free if you choose Supersaver. I believe there might be problems with that if you live in Ireland (I think) .... is that where you're from?

*edit - Ahhh I see you are. It's a shame they wont include NI.

play.com/PC/…tml

37.99 if play.com is free to delivery in NI.

I dont know. But I have these belkin plugs....very good.

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous... Still part of the UK, and few other places charge as much bloody postage for us Most have it free, same as mainland (epic grr >.

Thanks nickel! I'll have a look at these, the few reviews are positive. Doesn't say how fast they are though, I'm assuming 85Mbps?

Ooh price gone up? (Unless I'm blind and they were always £40, I dunno, I'm tired)

Makes them the same price as Amazon now:
amazon.co.uk/Net…1_0

Hmm.

So I'm wondering which are better. These netgears, or the max values:
amazon.co.uk/Max…0_0

(Brand would say netgear, but number of reviews says MaxVal :p) Anyone want to give advice?

And do we know how well these cope with being plugged into a single extension (6/8way one end possibly surge protected)? (Although there is space for wall socket, just wondering)

The Amazon pack is better, especially if it is at the same price. I've just got a pack and they are BOTH 4 port, rather than the 1 port + 4 port from eBuyer. Why is this important? Well I have 4 devices upstairs which I have connected to one of these (two printer, a NAS Drive and a Desktop PC). The other one is downstairs and I've connected the Broadboand Modem and three other devices (PS3, HD-DVD player and Panny TV). With the eBuyer pack this wouldn't have been possible, I would need to have purchased another adaptor.

On the issue of connecting to the Wall-Plug or extension cable with surge protection. I was worried about this, but I have both of the adaptors connected to surge-protected extension sockets and so far no problems, operating sweet as a nut.

just bought a set from Amazon - next day delivery for free but then I have Prime, still beats paying an extra £10 for ebuyer next day

Good choice. Your Amazon pack that you have ordered is the better product as both devices have 4 ports, unlike the eBuyer pack where one device is 4 port and one device ONLY has ONE port.

had these delivered 3 days ago from amazon - and to be quite honest my sceptism of this product was certainly unjust - they work incredibly well , i am really impressed

Rep coming your way Think I may have to purchase...

This is a lazy question: Does amazon sell these in single packs too? Ideally I'd like to get 3 (one for the router, one for one area and another for another area). Buying 2 packs is overkill

Lazy answer: I don't know, I haven't checked since I didn't need any. :). Thanks for the rep.

EDIT: It seems the TWIN pack on Amazon is now sold out and only available through Marketplace sellers (at a steep £69.99) and a single one at £53.

I know, I almost cried. Was going to order 2 sets yesterday...

Very unamused, but will keep watching to see if it comes back in at the bargain price!
