This or rbk50?

If you can put the router in the centre of your house; this. If you can’t, go orbi mesh. The WiFi 6 benefit won’t be realised for a fair while yet

Fair enough. I can't leave it in the centre.

Will leave my rbk50 order as it is.

Stop buying this kind of this and buy a ubiquiti AP instead. You won’t regret it!
Glad my house is fully covered with the VM Hub 3 that costs me nothing and my VPN Network through a cheap Linksys that cost me 20 quid

No bud, the EX8000 is tri band and can’t be wired.

Am waiting for the EAX80 extender but it’s dual band only; not sure about how it will fare. And I’m sure netgear will then launch a tri band WiFi 6!extender in the future since they have the WiFi 6 orbi’s coming out but they want £700 for that stuff!

Glad the SH3 works for you bud: mine didn’t have the range needed and now sits in modem mode

Haha yeah. Had a look at their website and they want more than enterprise grade Access Points!

I think I should be fine with these 🤞. Have tp link M5 being delivered tomorrow as well for£135 with rbk50 next week and I'm thinking to just send the tp links back even though they're 3 units.

Not sure on the tp link but everyone raves about the orbi. I was tempted to go to orbi but wanted to see if could do it on just one router and no secondaries. Am hoping the mesh technology from the orbi filters into the new Ax range.
I have this router and wifi6 chip in my laptop, also Samsung Galaxy s10. But my laptop often connects only at 300-400mbps, sometimes it goes down to 200mbps. Laptop is next to the router. Also have Galaxy s10 and not good speeds with this router. My broadband is fibre 1gbps with 950mbps real life speed over ethernet. Not sure if I got faulty model
I have always had problems with the wifi signal in my house. It didnt matter which router I had. However that all changed when I purchased the BT Whole Home WiFi System. I have 6 x Discs all around the house (6 bedroom house) and now I have strong wifi signal everywhere. Each disc has an ethernet port to connect a wired connection too. So I have my cctv cameras connected to these with excellent signal strength.

Easy setup too. The app on your phone guides you to create and setup your Whole Home Wi-Fi system in minutes. In the App you control who is online for whatever period of time. Like I have my kids settings as wifi off between 9pm-7am every week day. I would highly recommend these to everyone.

I hope this helps.
Actually I have ax12 one that I posted in September for 231pounds so ax8 for 234pounds isn't a great deal
Great router - also handy for reaching the too of the kitchen cupboards.
A good upgrade to my Lockheed F-117
