Get a WiFi 78928394902 band. They’re the best. Trust me

Only dual-band and not the tri-band version that you really need for maximum speed and throughput. Save your money for a trip-band MESH system.

The produsct itself is not bad but Buy the RBK50 as it is triband and works perfectly. The RBK50 is a monster. I know this as i have used 6 different mesh system within a year and no one could beat it. If you want to go one step higher, go for the wifi 6. However, it is expenssivvvvveeeeee.

I had Tenda Nova mw6 and sold it last week. During my testing it was up there with the best. Good buy
What's the link speed per band?
Reading these comments is making me think to return the BT whole home WiFi I've got coming in a few days and wait for a bit, bought two refurbished triple sets for £99 each that were posted on HUKD.

The BT is not bad but there are better ones. It would do the job though.

The Tenda is never a push over. I used it for 10 months. The only one that made me got rid of my Tenda is the Netgear Orbi RBk50. I still have the 3 packs google whole home wifi but the speed is sloooow. Tenda and BT? I think Tenda can stand its ground. The Bt is definitely slower than any mesh i have tested within the same price range. Tenda nova MW6's Speed seems to be stable and supports Alexa.

My honest opinion between Tenda MW6 and BT WHM?

The two are both comparable but i would go for Tenda all the way. The fact that it does the same thing and is way cheaper than BT Whole home wifi is a no brainer.

Nah Bro.....
.....the Plinky Plonk 45H is quicker.
You can even boost speeds with the Microwave Oven passthrough extension kit.

Thanks very interesting. I'm new to all this. I had a Tenda MW3 from a deal but was getting slow speeds for my Virgin 100MB connection so returned it, figured I need something with a gigabit Ethernet. So picked up refurbished BT trio set for £99 which is cheaper than a triple MW6 set at the moment. Will give the BT a go when it arrives, can return it if not satisfactory. Yes have read about the Orbi RBK50, unfortunately they're expensive.

You are welcome. Tenda mw3 is not quite there. It is an inferior model to Tenda MW6. The Tenda MW6 works perfectly with Virgin. I used it with Virgin and there was no single issue for 11 months. See how the BT goes. If it doesn't go well, Tenda MW6 is the one to get.

You mentioned earlier it works with Alexa. Does the BT not support Alexa or Google home? Have both in our house.

The 3 of them do. That's why i said they are comparable.

Great Thanks. BT will be going back if it doesn't support Alexa, Google home or any of my smart plugs/bulbs

Wifi 6 band will have less range as compare to Wifi 5 due to high frequency, i assume solid walls will be big obstacle for it as well. Speed advantage depends on how near your Wifi 6 enabled device is to the router/mesh.

Tri-band is not the same as Wi-Fi 6. I picked up a tri-band Orbi for £75. If you have fast broadband then you will soon wish you had spent a little more on a tri-band system.

You need to compare oranges with oranges.
People who are interested in wifi6 won't be looking at spending sub £150.
Comparing this item to something that is 5 times the price and saying it doesn't have those features is a bit silly.
Fore the tenda 6 were terrible. Kept dropping out and would get nowhere near my max speeds. with the BT discs I now get 75meg everywhere wireless in the house on my 'up to 80' package.
