Good price and recommended, I swapped out all my power line adapters for this set up, so much faster and now reaches everywhere in my house.
Great bit of kit, WiFi everywhere in my house at the max speed, only thing is the satellite plug in does not have a wired network connection, if you need this you will need to get one of the other Orbi sets. Really is a great bit of kit for the money
its been this price for a while, currently CCL have it for a tenner cheaper. Last month it was as low as £70
It's still only £74.99 with free delivery at CCL I got mine from there after seeing it on here a while ago, in fact I bought two as i needed a 2nd satellite and it worked out cheaper to buy this again than buy a single Satellite.

I got this a few months back, to improve the WiFi coverage in my flat. The flats is much longer than it is wide, so signal have trouble traveling all the way down to the bedroom (due to corridor and walls). I tried a 100 pounds router with lots antennas but no luck. This solved the problem perfectly for me. So I'd recommend it.

But something to bare in mind when picking this over an alternative mesh networks. The setup is confusing at best. First time linking satellite to the main router took no less than 10 attempts. Initially, I think the distance was just a bit too far (although now I have it in that exact spot). I moved it and tried a few more times and finally got it working. At one point I thought I might have to return it. If it happens to you, just try it a few more times with the two device closer to each other when pairing. I updated software couple time on the router and satellite, each time I thought I broke it and had to try 2 - 3 times to pair back. There is also an app, itis also not the best but gets the job done.

RBK30 going strong and recommended. Just wish they'd sell extra satellite's at a good price....
Are these mesh systems just AP's set up in bridge mode with channel optimizations. If anyone knows, thanks. I'll also ask Mr Google...

"This Orbi Wi-Fi system kit of two covers homes up to 2,200 sq. feet" or "Get Wi-Fi coverage up to 4,000 sq ft". Which is correct, I wonder...
Mesh or not mesh ?

Mesh or not mesh ?

Mesh. Anybody got these? Could you keep your existing wifi/modem/router and place the Orbi Router remote from the existing router using an ethernet cable? (effectively to give 3 wifi access points - the original router plus the 2 Orbis).

No I don’t believe you can. I have a Virgin Super Hub 3 which I had to switch to modem mode in order to use the Orbi

I did exactly the same. X2 of these bundles from CCL Online for approx. £140, then sold the spare router on the Bay for £60.

In effect I got an RBK router and two satellites for £80, and the best WiFi Signal I’ve ever had

Yes you can, mines plugged into my EE router via an ethernet cable and does exactly that, the EE network is still there with the Orbi mesh running adjacent to it. You don't see each Orbi as a seperate access point though, it just appears as one Orbi network throughout the house (my EE wireless network shows seperately). I suppose channels etc could clash but I've never experienced any issues with both wireless networks running. I have to say the coverage is superb with these Orbis.

Wouldn't the wired connection also run over the WiFi so would be just as good?

The satelite on this orbi model is only wifi. it's got no plug in wired ethernet connection on the satelite. The better orbi models have a satelite with 4 ethernet connections so you plug in a non wifi box etc to the satelite orbi.
Great my router just packed up. Tri band and a satellite bargain.
Hi guys, could some very kind knowledgeable person please give me some much needed advice please and help me from pulling my hair out!
Currently using (when it works) the virgin super hub 3 (nothing super about it) constantly drops out, always having to reboot, wifi range is woeful, just installed my blink xt cameras, the one in my back garden, about 8m away from the router struggles, so many blackspots around the house it's drivin me nuts
Thinking of buying 2 of this orbi gear, router will be in lounge, will put a satellite in the kitchen and the 2nd upstairs..... so do I put hub 3 into modem mode and just connect this router to it then the satellites to router? .... and then hopefully WiFi harmony will be restored and I won't feel like running for the hills when the kids moan "Muuuuuuuum me tablet isn't working" ??? Thank you in advance for any help and advice
@Pinksparkles1973

Superhub into modem mode.
Plug main orbi into Superhub.
Put satellite somewhere else, not to far, not to close.

p.s. I've got VM super hub 3, it was ok but going MESH wifi is super!

Awww cheers mate, been hoping for a reply before I purchased so thanks!
If I buy 2 will the second plug in thingy connect ok to the main router thingy?
Thinking for the price of these I'd get better performance if I had one plugged in downstairs and also one upstairs?

Personally I'm thinking one set should do it if you live in a normal sized house........ one downstairs, one upstairs....
Sorry to be mithering you again
So I connect to super hub in lounge, plug a satellite in, say in the kitchen (probs about 5m away) seeing as this is so cheap would I not get even more WiFi avail upstairs if I bought 2 (ok won't be using the 2nd router but I'd sell it) and plugging a 2nd satellite on the landing so kids consoles/tablets etc can connect hopefully well to that too?
