They’re a bit of a faff to set up if you want to use it in full router mode as opposed to just bridge mode. But once you get it working, Orbi is an excellent system!

Works really well and removes most WIFI blackspots. But note, If you have a Ring doorbell and this won't work, not sure why as I and most people on the Orbi forum's have been trying to fix it.
Is this better than the BT version at same price?

I'm tempted by this as it has the ethernet ports

I’ve got this and the ring doorbell all works as it should.
Does anyone know if this is better than the TP Link Deco M5 by any chance? Thank you

Great bit of kit, no dead spots in a 4 bedroom detached house.
Purchase this last month to fix issues with Virgin fibre, we have 20+ devises and Virgin100 kept dropping devises, upgraded to Virgin200 and same issues, intallec this installed this mesh WiFi and hey presto, issues resolved. It’s a brilliant bit of kit, looking forward to contract expiration so I can move to Vodafone, Sky or Nowtv Broadband, this mesh system gives you maximum speed across huge number of devises.

I had this problem, it happens if the 2.4g network on Orbi selects a channel too high that the Ring doorbell can't see, just force it to a lower channel, that's what I did and it worked, fixed!

I got my mine to work by manually setting the 2.4ghz wifi channel to something that wasn’t channel 10 or above.

U know what, this works. Can't believe for months I struggled, I was about to buy a second wireless router purely to run the Ring door bell and chime from ;-)

You are a life saver!!!

It’s the result of a month of frustrating trial and error! I also went down the additional router route and also turned all sorts of settings off and on but it seems to be purely down to the channel.

It seems the US don’t use channels 12 or 13 so Ring products do not work with them. They seem to be the quieter channels so the Orbi seems to select them automatically. I tried mine on channels 10 and 11 too but they were flakey so used a wifi scanner to see which channel below 10 was quietest and now it works fine!

Glad it solved your problem!
