This works and is easy setup compared to the bt mini version which was a faff and ended up returned

Easy to add additional satellites too. Recommended.
Agreed with that commentator though I'll add that separates - add-on satellites are comparatively expensive buys.
Bought this on BF for very similar price and have to say it's been rock solid and very fast .

But when it does want to work, it's a right pain to fix. Seems to lack features as well such as parental control (Disney plus subscription), device security (bit defender armour), device bandwidth usage etc ...

Their support is terrible and you have Netgear fanboys running around on their forums telling everyone to factory reset for any of their problems.
Does this work well with Virgin Media?

Yes, so much better. You will need to put your VM router in modem mode.... Its just a simple option in the settings.
These do offer pretty good speeds most independent test, but worthwhile mentioning that they are no true mesh, all comms go back through the main router. That may not be an issue for you, but in my case where the Internet entrance point is at one end of the house these likely aren't the best option. They've also just released a WiFi 6 version hence why these are coming down in price, though the new versions are CRAZY expensive, so unless you have loads of WiFi 6 clients these will be the best option for many.

I don't, no kids in the house! It has for some reason activated my Netgear armour trial for no reason so if you have any questions on that.
Antibody know how to get the "pause/resume" slider switch to work in the app?

If you look at the router or any satellites and look at the connected devices, there is a pause/resume slider switch on the right side next to every connected device. There doesn't seem to be any way to get the slider to slide (it's not greyed out or anything) but tapping it or sliding it doesn't do anything.

Can anybody help?

Because it is not as good. Netgear set supposed to be one of the best, and recommended for gaming too.

Fair enough but they're the same "spec" or am I missing something?

I have it installed on an iPad and android phone and both don't allow that switch to move.

Does it move for anyone else?

I've got this connected to my hub 3 box and it gives me full 500mb plus connection(oomph package). Using it wireless mode as was easy to set up and not had an issue yet. Got the satellite upstairs connected wirelessly and gives 500mb plus to devices connected to it. Obviously different houses will have more interference and location of the satellite will affect performance. You can hardwire the satellite to give a ethernet backup but I've not done that yet as it seems to be doing fine even gaming.
