How does this compare to Google WiFi and bt whole home?
Are these any better than using decent WiFi boosters?

In my experience with Netgear Orbi vs boosters the results are much better. They create one seemless network throughout the house and when setup right maintain high speeds throughout.

Cheers. Are they better than sky q mesh?
these seem to look good but seem expensive
Ive had both. This is much much more powerful. But the Router cant be re purposed as a satellite, and an extra satellite costs a fortune.

(just noticed they have a sat on sale!! Just bought it)

I've no experience with Sky Q Mesh so can't comment. Maybe someone else can.
After some advice please. I am after some form of mesh network but with so many options, I am really confused. I narrowed it down to BT whole home wifi, Netgear Orbi and Google Wi-Fi. However with the Orbi I was not aware of RBK23 and RBK53. Any advice on what to get? 3 bedroom detatched house with lots of wi-fi equipment and lots of heavy internet use, gaming, streaming etc.

They are loads better than the sky q mesh. I replaced mine with the rbk23. So you get 1 router plus 2 WiFi satellites.
Sky q struggled with the number of devices and often became useless. I also believe that sky q uses their 5ghz channel for their backhaul. So devices have to use 2.4ghz. Orbi has 2 x 5ghz radio so it uses 1 x 5ghz for backhaul and 1x 5ghz and 1x 2.4ghz for the devices.
Since I've swapped it out I get no speed issues despite having well over 20 devices connected around the house.
I have this and covers the entire house with the base and satellite.
Good speeds throughout anywhere (and my desktop pc is connected via wire to the satellite). Definitely an upgrade to any stock routers
These are the real deal and I’ve had mine for over a year and it manages my smart home without any trouble. I have 3 Nest cameras on constant stream plus tons of connected devices and it never drops or lags. Great price compared to what I paid
Do you have one router plus one satellite?
