For anyone unsure whether this is worth the money.
That was done upstairs, on a 350 Virgin fibre connection that is on the middle floor.

Amazing piece of kit.

I agree, stable speeds!
This is model RBK20. Same price on Amazon
Just wondering if RBK30 for £80 is a better deal? amazon.co.uk/NET…RLL

Looks the same spec by the same manufacturer. Looks a waaay better deal! I'm tempted to give it ago to see if the coverage is sufficient; I think it should be, for my 3 storey Victorian Semi.
Oh, no ethernet port on the RBK30 satellite. Not an issue for me though.

How did you set it up? Did you just used 1 Orbi? Did you put it next to your Virgin Hub? Did you change the Virgin Hub to Modem mode? Sorry for lots of questions.

Yes - virgin router to modem mode and plug it in. Manage it via app too. With the app you can also block individual devices etc so great for people with kids who may wish to restrict access.

Do you need two or more for a two floor semi detach house? How many Lan port do these have?

I have the cheaper RBK30 and two is sufficient in my 3 bedroom semi (also does to log cabin in garden) the main router has LAN and the satellite plugin is WiFi only. Pictures and stats here netgear.com/orb…spx
Damn! This or wait for the ax model that’s due out.
Looking for a deal on rbk50
Is this better than Google WiFi?
Good deal for anyone having trouble with their Virgin Superhub's wifi coverage. I have the router only and even just having that has made for a more stable and even coverage in my semi-detached.

Just on the lookout for a satellite now so if anyone gets this deal, and discovers they don't need the satellite, give us a shout!
no stock near me, and nor Currys who have it at the same price, collection only.

It looks to be. I have google wifi and while it does do a good job, it doesn't maintain the top end very far from each unit.
