Good (not amazing) price for these, they’re great piece of kit though with reliable speeds.

I have these and was not expecting much but they are so good that I have an 8 port switch now at the far end running all my gaming gear and pc on lan.
These are good if you can't run wires, on have ridiculously thick walls that eat WiFi, but they do add quite a significant amount of latency so not great for gaming.

I haven’t had latency problems, though I went from using a WiFi to WiFi access point—but these power lines have definitely been an improvement on that setup.

I have not had any latency issues either.
I just tested my PSN speeds and on Wifi I get 24mb down 1mb up and on these I get 78mb down and 4mb up. My broadband is 120mb down 4mb up.

Does any one have any tips on the best way to extend these around the house? Always seems to be 2 in a pack whereas I would need three.

You've got very bad WiFi
Switching to 5Ghz might help depending on distance.

You have a 35% loss using the powerlines and an 80% loss on wifi. I had a 99% drop in the farthest room away from the router on wifi using my isp's provided zyxel router. I changed the router to a proper one and now I get no more than a 25% loss all over the house. More expensive than one pair of powelines yes, but now I have decent wifi all over the house.

Yeah I'm using the provided router. I may look to change it one day.

Any recommendations on a router?
I currently have the tp a 500. Will I get any increase in speed if I use this? My broadband is 78mb and I am getting about 35 to 41mb currently.

Not really worth it.

Not really worth it.

Thanks. Does that mean that there will be no increase in speed?
