I've got loads of different brands all connected together, never had any issues. I've used them for all sorts of uses - connecting DVR,TV, Steam box, Wifi Extender never had any issues.

It could be down to your electrical wiring in your house - I hear some people have issues if they have a shared ground with the neighbours (or something like that).

Since it's from amazon I would buy it and try it, and if it doesn't work, Amazon are usually really easy with returns.

good shout about Amazon returns. Yeah possibly something with the electrical wiring. By TV would almost buffer but hard wired, no issues. good deal for these too
