Only for bt infinity as has no adsl router built in!

Also works for Cable (Virgin Media) and as a partner to any router with an DSL modem.

You can leave your ISP router as a modem only and use this for the majority of your wireless LAN traffic.

Do you think this would perform better than BT's HH5?

For wireless speed, yes
For wired speed, yes
It does not have a VDSL modem built in like the HH5 does so you would need a BT Openreach box for this or use the HH5 inline

Is this better than the ASUS AC66U?

Better than the AC66U, runs close with the AC68U (see above)
