Netgear Stora 1TB £119.99 + OTHERS @ PC World / Curry's IN STORE

Another .97 clearance... Just picked up a 1TB Netgear Stora from a combined PC World / Curry's branch in London for £119.97, looks like a good price.

There were also the Linksys 500GB Media Hub (MH300 series) for £89.97; the 1TB MH400 version was a shocking £199.97, which is a bit expensive.

If you're not interested, please don't vote cold just because you prefer something else. This'll probably be expired soon anyway since it's a clearance deal. Thanks!

I bought one from novatech a few backs for £59.99 with a free 500gb and it went straight on ebay.... What a heap of junk.... If your after a decent NAS buy the Qnap TS210....

It's £54.99 empty at amazon, you could almost buy 2 x 1tb drives with the difference

amazon.co.uk/Net…8-3

The TS-210 is about £160 as well... not that expensive, but still a good chunk of cash. It does look good though.

Thats readynas money and the storas a pile of junk.

They synology are ok, I had one of those too (also the LG and Buffalo), The qnap has twonky media server built in which is amazing. With the synology it kept freezing streaming media and took ages to appear but the qnap is instant and also has much better software..
