so - it's more expensive than a inferior product?

Good discount. Tempted to swap out my existing cameras but it's a shame it's the same resolution as the originals. Anyone with the Pro 2 think the extra resolution is worth it?
Great price, thanks OP.
Old version, Pro2 is current. That said note the night vision on Pro 2 is useless and overall Pro 2 quality is better but is still for me more like 480p.

But factor in setup is a doddle and at the moment free cloud services a superb package.

These things change version so much I'm hesitant to buy them

Id rather get the pro2 with its 1080 video though, but this is a god price given there were like £400+ when I looked before

Tempted, but think I'll hold out for a Pro 2 offer.
Good find though op! Heat.

Had the original simple to set up. I never liked the fact though that the camera was only there on a magnet. Very easy to pinch if come up on its blind side. Only really got rid as I would have needed to open my own battery factory!
Tempted with the pro and the rechargeable batteries though!

How long do the batteries last on full charge?

You can purchase the chain to go with them, have the screw mount instead of the magnet followed by a small chain for extra security; place up high as well - win win!

Thats my plan anyway as soon as the Pro 2 offers start!

I can't go too high because of sight lines over bay window etc. Will look out for the chain though is it on Aamazon?
Whats the difference then between pro and pro 2? Didn't realize they had revamped them again.

You could purchase the solar panel which plugs into the cameras, I have 2 for my cameras, work great even during the winter months. My battery level has never dropped below 96% and I have had the pro system now for over year. Highly recommend.

How is yi an inferior product? Because it needs to be plugged in? Or because you have to pay for cloud? Judging by some of the comments yi has got better image quality than this... You could also connect yi to solar panel. Just different and cheaper choice IMHO.
I’m undecided between this one and the non pro version which is much cheaper?
Yes you can get the chain from Amazon, but no doubt cheaper on eBay. For ideas watch this:

Out of interest, which Yi product are you referring to. I'm genuinely interested.

Type on amazon - yi 1080p external camera - it is certified for outdoor use. Yi shop sometimes puts it on offer for £57. Got 5 so far and vane fault them with great image quality, 4 camera viewer app (windows) sd recording (playable via app) etc etc.

Just posted this deal
