Just to point out that this is not a modem router, it will not allow you to connect to the interenet. There may be some comfusion for some people

This wont work on cable or ADSL broadband, it will only provide wirless connectivity between PC's. Internet connectivity will have to be supplied by a modem connected to this router.

hope this helps.

I have one of these.

For cable use - just plug the supplied (by TW/NTL) cable modem into the back.

For ADSL use - you need a standalone ADSL modem with ethernet out e.g. ]http//ww…448

According to the description this is a router so it will work with cable broadband- what you've described is a wireless access point.

This wont work with cable broadband as you have to have a cable modem. All this does is route network traffic thats why its called a router.

If you're with a cable provider, you will have a cable modem therefore this device will work with a cable connection.
