Wifi extender, compatible with b/g/n wireless networks, plugs into a power socket and bob's your uncle you have an extended network (or at least that's what it says on the box!).

Black tag deal, so may only be available up to midnight tonight

Ok - no deal here then

None readily available in my local Argos's so went for one from my local Currys - not worth worrying about the 2 quid!

Anyone using this with by home hub?

I got one of these on Sunday, argos £17.99, great price but can I get it to link up to a Virgin super hub? No chance, any directions please let me know

From Argos website....

brilliant piece of equipment
I really had my doubts this would work as I've tried everything. Live in big house and couldn't get a wifi signal in some areas even though I have BT infinity. Plugged this in and WOW I now have a signal everywhere, and so easy to set up and move around until the signal is strong. Highly recommended.

I have this already, however could I again extend the existing signal with another extender?

Yeah, picked mine up this morning and hooked it up with my Virgin router. Followed the WPS instructions - plugged in the extender, waited for a green light, then pressed the WPS button on the side. The green light flashes. Then held the WPS button on the front of my Virgin router, which then flashes orange. After a few moments the extender WPS light went solid and all was well.

Then moved the extender downstairs to improve the wifi there. Seems to work ok and should now cover my back garden.
