I bought 2 of these when Play had them for £25 each and I am very impressed with them They work over extension leads and were a doddle to set up.

A steal at this price!

I've been using this kit for years; and I've much more used to paying £40 each, than for a pair. Brilliantly easy to set up; and avoids any worries about people hijacking your wifi connection.

Not a bad deal. Bargain if you will use/need the switch. If you just need point to point then the MSI units at Scan are cheaper, and I can vouch for their quality.

I agree in principle as initially, I was going to get the single ports and a switch, but I now have the PS3 and router plugged into the living room one and the NAS and 360 upstairs. its a much more elegant solution than using the separate switch. As a bonus, they're a good "recognised" brand too

I just need something that will give me a new ethernet port upstairs so I can plug in a phone system.

Will this do the job?

It will as long as you have a pair of them; i.e. one by your router & then one in your other room

I have several of these homeplugs around the house and they are fantastic for my static kit meaning the mac and laptop run wirelessly bery happily indeed

I did have to get a switch though for the PS3 & NAS downstairs as the ones I have only have one port

so will these plugs work if you have separate ring main circuits so ring main for one upstairs and one downstairs with all mains wires running back to same fuse box (consumer unit) ? Cheers blinder & TIA:)

Why doesnt anyone include the postage any more?
