Its there to solve a very specific and niche problem. You can use it to maximise the speed of your mobile internet by placing the router in the best zone but not many people need to do this as they use cable or phone line broadband

You can buy a reasonably cheap, suitable for your needs, openbox unused smartphone that is on the list, and have at it! Works for me.
List of phones is larger if you do it the 'non-easy', which is how I did it. It can seem scary figuring how to flash TWRP. But you only do it once. (edited)

I've tried Lineage too, but /e/ is where I stopped experimenting. However, there are more options:

Exactly what I was looking for too. Tried it, uninstalled it.
I care, but what alternative do I have?
I don't think anyone using a Google device cares about being snooped on. Already reports everything you do to Google every couple of minutes.
Nothing is free this days.

This is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much!
Where's the list for the non easy way please? is it this community.e.foundation/t/l…802?
And how can it continue to get heat when it's only a 7 day trial
The map page only seems to show my current provider strength... Thanks in advance!
I have not heard of it. Surely something more known and thus safe to install does the same or better for free anyway.
Indeed it does, but this app and others like it will also collect data on networks you're searching on, within the area you are using it.. So snooping on another level, if you get my meaning?
