OK while shopping in Home Bargains in Selby today I spotted they had Neutrogena T Gel shampoo on the shelves for £4.99 per 125ml ...... but alongside there were boxes of basically the same shampoo....but labelled original formula....

This costs at least £5 anywhere else but the 130ml Original Formula bottles are only £2,49.

I have a friend with eczema & this is just about the only shampoo she can use

I love the smell of this
I wash my hair with this once a week before I dye my hair, always feel the dye holds better

I had this on prescription when Polytar was hard to get hold of (don't know if it still is, I ended up with Capisal)... just incase anyone with psoriasis etc on their head gets free prescriptions and didn't know.

Dehumanization

Really? DD has psoriasis on her scalp and the normal T Gel works well on her but when the Dr prescribed her some stuff she had to pay for it as she's over 19, if there's a way around this let me know as she's not got regular work so it's a lot of money to her.

If she can't get free prescriptions she won't be able to get it free. There's something called Dovobet gel, for use on both body and scalp (if she's already paying for a prescription cream for her body) that may work out better... apart from that, I'd get down to Home Bargains and stock up

Thanks will stick with TGel while it works, shall pop down to HB tomorrow

Picked one up on Wednesday when I was in HB, They also had the 125ml T-Gel at £4,99 so the 130ml at £2,49 was a lot better value.

picked up 3 myself.

i get prescribed Nizoral shampoo but i dont feel it works much at all, does anyone know if this works any better or anything really that might be better that i can ask my doctor if he can get it for me, i have really bad eczema on my forhead going all the way thruogh the scalp and itches so much i get funny looks so i really dont think Nizoral is working anymore.

just been and bought 2 bottles, hope it works better thatn the Nizoral :-)

I tried Nizoral, used 3 bottles but didn't work for me. Started using T-Gel earlier this year and although not 100% cleared my scalp issues its certainly the best I have tried.

The coal tar smell is either love it or hate it. I buy it for my son who used to have eczema on his scalp but it's absolutely fine since using this. He has quite sensitive skin but this doesn't bother him - some folks do have a reaction.
Also bottle says not suitable for children under 12 years old.
Oh and apparently head lice hate it too.:)

Thanks. Heat added.
