Heat, will go cold because it is expensive and people don’t think a coin is worth that much.

more like because you're throwing money away - you're not buying a coin worth £65 (if resold some time in the future) so you can never get your money back, & that's before taking inflation into account

£65 for an interesting 'useless but nice' present? OK

Yes not for everyone, but on 2017 more than 30 000 people thought it was a great buy as it only taken a few hours to get sold out.
What are last year's selling for now?
I have the 2017 peter rabbit, only reason I bought it was when I was born my mum bought me a peter rabbit piggy bank so i thought i would buy this for my son to go along with the piggy bank. My coin has been signed by the artist of the coin.

Love how each year they put up the limited number was 15-16k then 30k(2017) now 35k (2018)

For every moron paying over £65 there are plenty of people buying them for less than £40 delivered on Ebay. Take the commission, Paypal fees and postage out and the £60 investment looks a bit sad.
I remember when 2017 coin hit and they where selling on ebay for £95+ as they where sold out within hours. and people where buying them.

i was going to buy 3 and sell 2, but then i realised I am not a sad person to do something like this to make a little ££

I have one but only because one of those 30,000 people paid with one somewhere.
I still have 3 sets of 2017 coins ,great investment that was haha. The only coin in the series worth any great value is the 2016 peter rabbit £700-£1000 current value .
Love Peter Rabbit
I am still looking for a 2013 £1 coin (any £1 coin) for my son (the year he was born) I am guessing they did not make any this year as not came across one yet) I still have mines from when i was born.

That might be a bit difficult now as the old £1 coins are no longer in circulation.

Why redo Peter rabbit every year why not Alice and wonderland or something different the following year.
Hi, anyone receive theirs, may I ask for help (first time buy this after reading this thread):

one coin is sitting not straight but 90 degree turn

and the other one: coin is OK but full of white little things inside the transparent plastic. I don't know how to open the transparent box to clean it.

should I ask for exchange and who pay for the return and exchange postage ? (sorry could not see any terms on royal mint)

not feeling happy as a first time shopper with royal mint with such poor standard.

Also they send the coins just in a brown paper envelope (not even a bubble envelope at all), inside only the coins on their own without any wrapping.

Seems to me not acting like a professional seller (and they sell coins worldwide as a UK official site! Charge coins so much not even bother to send it with a bubble wrapped envelope???

I packed much much better when I sold my ebay item (and they only sell under £20), I packed my dvd boxset with layers of bubbles then cushion with papers, send it out inside a cartoon box so it arrived safe and sound. And I am just a amateur seller!
