AO.com are price matching ebuyer at £169.98 and will honour the £50 cashback offer on this tv (they will send redemption email within 72 hours of purchase).

Ring 0844 324 9222 for price match.

I just bought one and am amazed at the price with the features! I previously had a refurbished Samsung TV from Argos for a lot more money but it broke after a few months.

UPDATE: Phone them after 8PM.
UPDATE 2: Product review:
Picture quality 10/10
Sound quality 9/10
So much better than the Samsung I had!

(I can't find the 2D to 3D conversion function or game mode so I think they were a mistake on the AO website. Everything else is as stated).

UPDATE 3: I just got the email about cashback and filled out the online form (they do it through BACS - into your bank account). It said I will receive confirmation within 21 days.

Also, as BruceyBonus commented, if for whatever reason they say that ebuyer charge for delivery, ask for the delivery date to be changed to later in the week.

UPDATE 4: I just checked and the cashback went in 5th Sept

Not with this fantastic spec!
Pound-4-pound I'd be extremely surprised if you can find a better spec'ed 32" 720p panel.

Bangin bargain :-)

One further detail I found from watching the video: as well as recording TV, it can even pause live TV which you can resume watching - if you have USB stick/ External HDD with enough free space plugged in!

I hate all this cashback lark, straight price 119.98 is much better.

BOOOOOM

Thanks for the many people that appreciate this deal so far

My day was brilliant actually! Just was a bit annoyed by my deal going to -20...
It's hardly much effort at all for the cashback, and it will be fulfilled, rapidly as it's AO.

Here is what ebuyer wrote about it:

"Most households now have two or more televisions with bedrooms and dens often having their own TV. And, if you are looking for an extra television, this Hisense 32" HD Ready LED TV is ideal for the bedroom, kitchen or for those living rooms that are too small for a large TV. And in fact 32 inch TVs are among the most popular of all sizes in the UK and, for HD ready sets, this is the perfect size.

Great Price
For a second or third TV you don't want to break the bank but similarly you want a television that not only offers a high quality picture but is also reliable and versatile. And this Hisense 32" TV is available for an incredibly low price for such a high specification set
.
The Full Package
The TV is supplied with its own stand so it is ready to go straight out of the box. If, however, you wish to mount the set on the wall, it is VESA compatible (200x100mm). A remote control is of course supplied and we even include the batteries as well.

Great Picture
The TV has a HD ready resolution of 1366x768 and, for the technically savvy amongst us, the TV has an aspect ratio of 16:9, dynamic contrast of 3000:1 and a refresh rate of 60Hz backed up by a grey to grey response time of 6.5ms. In short a high quality picture with no ghosting or stuttering.

Connectivity
The television is tremendously versatile with its many different connecting interfaces allowing set top boxes, consoles, PCs, laptops and other portable devices to be linked to the TV. You can see the full technical specification below but a few highlights are 3 x HDMI inputs, 2 x USB ports, SCART and VGA inputs amongst others."

I'm sorry Rich, but you are completely wrong with that statement. AO always honour cashback and price matching, and do a little more research before you call it standard spec and average price... Hisense are just emerging in the UK which is why you might not have heard of them. This is much better than the supermarket brand TV's such as Blaupunkt.

So true.

Hisense are not a no name brand. They are not known in the UK true, but in AustralAsia they are like Samsung are here... their equipment is everwyehere and outsells Samsung and Sony out there.

I would have liked to see 1080p though, that would take it from good price to bargain.

is this yhe same tv that was posted for 169 at euronics ay the tale end of last week

Unless you sit closer than 6ft away from a 32 inch TV, you probably won't see a difference.

As far as I'm aware 60hz is all you could need. TV's that say they offer higher hz usually rather use "motion interpolation", which in my opinion is best turned off most of the time, and it creates input lag for gaming along with the "soap opera effect".

Email from AO:

"I'm sorry to advise that I would be unable to pricematch with the deal you have listed below, as ebuyer charge an extra £11.50 for delivery if you want it within 48 hours."

You are correct, I just tried it too. I don't know what ebuyer are doing...
However, phone AO up, don't email them! It still appears as "FREE DELIVERY", so there is a good chance of them still price matching it.

thanks for the info, good to know.
I notice rich hasn't found me a better deal ;-)

I have just got AO to match Ebuyer's £249.99 for the 40 inch version, making it £175 after cashback, if anybody is interested in a larger tv.

I phoned after 8pm last night. Initially they (again) told me that ebuyer charge for next day delivery. I asked for the delivery date to be changed to later in the week (had originally selected next day) and they agreed to price match.

£175 for a good size, and full 1080p HD. Can't complain with that! I will be calling them later. Did you have to phone after 8pm to resolve the questionable delivery charges?

EDIT. Interestingly the video description of the 40" says it ISNT full HD... Also pictures definitely only show 2 HDMI, not 3 as listed in the product description. Anyone physically got this TV - can you clear things up for me?

Hisense is a major brand, just not in this country (as of yet), which is why he stated emerging.

It is more known around asia, china specifically which contains about 1 billion of the worlds population compared to 65 million in the UK.

The more you know.

It's come up at £179.98 now.
