eh? what about all the good older 3ds games?

if you mean games that are only for the new 3ds then that doesn't even count as it works on the old models

How do you get the voucher? Not seeing it mentioned on Argos' site.

I'm not taking game advice from someone who has DayZ as their avatar

Wow, a £30 difference just for a different colour? And none of those games are worth more than £10. In fact, offering Rooms is a bit cheeky - it's an original DS game, you'd have to be mad to choose that. I'd want two copies of Miracle Mask! Obviously Argos just clearing out some old stock here. But still, better than paying £179.99 and just getting the console.

Not the same device. This is the XL.

Shame the graphics haven't been upgraded, they may not be everything but serious jagged edges stopping me getting one.

better off just getting the console and charger from toysrus site for £174.98, the choice of games included here is pretty dire.

They REALLY aren't good at giving new devices names. So you want a New New 3DS XL? Or a New 3DS XL? Or a used new 3DS XL?

Best deal around, could always sell the games for £5-£10 each

Has anyone done this yet? Codes state, homewares and furniture, does the 3DS fall under these categories?

The code above is automatically linked by the hukd site due to the use of the Argos name in the offer. That 20% has nothing to do with this deal. This deal is the 2xgames and 10 quid voucher, hence the title '£179.99' not 179.99 with 20% off. You are confusing the two.

Ha! Cheers bud couldn't understand how the 20% was being added.

Nice one

No probs mate. I'd be there now if it worked :P

Got this deal yesterday.

£179.99 plus 2 free games, which the reserve/checkout page says saves £25.

The £10 voucher was handed to me at time of purchase by the checkout person.

I bought Majora's Mask whilst in the shop (had to reserve on their website with mobile phone as it wasn't on their in-store computers) and used the £10 voucher towards that so for me the deal was...

1 New 3DS XL
1 Professor Layton Miracle Mask game
1 Super Street Fighter I game
1 Zelda: Majora's Mask game

Total £204.98 which is the best deal I have seen, provided you are happy with the extremely limited choice of games.

That's pretty much exactly as I will do later

Surely this is the best deal out there at the moment, although it does require a little effort.

store.nintendo.co.uk/new…tml

So that's £224 (don't forget Topcashback which is around £6-7 off)

You can sell the game for £50 on eBay based on sold auctions, the case for £25 and the skull kid figure for £50. So I recckon after fees you're looking at a 3DS XL with a charger for £115 (ish).

Can't that today tho. I'm a NEED IT NOW kind of bloke

Care to show me where they sell Majora's Mask Special Edition for £39.99?

£44.99 for the SE on Nintendo uk

Yep, that's the only place it's available. But I'm waiting for matombler to tell us all where we can get it for £39.99. On ebay however, they sold one yesterday for £69 and one for £79. Today one sold for £50. So you can easily get your money back on it if you don't want it.

Nintendo's price is £224 and that includes the special edition version of the game worth £45, a case worth £25, a charger worth £7 and a free exclusive Skull kid statue that sells for around £50. Plus of course a bit of topcashback.

All I'm saying is, if you put in a but of effort you can get a better deal for a 3DS XL.

Get the european deal instead. The games aren't worth it, you'll be lucky if you get £5 each for them and Professor Layton (the only one worth playing) can be picked up for < £10 new.

Heat - Got this deal earlier, selling the two free games with my old 3DS and using the £10 gift card towards an Amiibo.

Sold listing for the everything included bar the console and charger is £125. So you're bascially paying £100 for a New 3DS XL.

Not really, after eBay have robbed you for 10% of your winnings, you've also taken a 10% loss on the postage as they've robbed you for that as well, not to mention the 4.5% or whatever it is they then take in the guise of PayPal.

I still sell stuff on eBay right enough, but they have become far too greedy - hope to get the £125 for that lot and you will lose near enough £20!

Let us know how you get on.

In fact you can get even more back if you split the Majora's Mask Special Edition game up. Looking at sold auctions you can get.

£25-30 for the game
£15-20 for the mask pin
£10-15 for the poster
£20 for the steelbook
Maybe even something for the empty box.

So I reckon you can get between £70-£85 back just buy splitting it up. Bit more effort again, but it's all money off the 3DS XL.

Yes i'll let you know once i've sold everything (i'm slow though!). Anyway, thanks for checking all that out and advising people, you are the type of person that make this site great, so big big thank you! Shame about the people like the cheshire cat above, who appears to be the type of person that feels far superior because they have more money, sad 8-(
