New (3rd Gen) iPad - Cheapest I can find £384 using voucher code plus 3% cashback @ Tesco

Update 18/03: Do NOT buy a 4G version! See page 18 of comments for reasons why!
Approx £367 After £12.33 quidco and 479 club card points or cheaper if you know anyone that works there and can get staff discount.

Existing customers can get £15 off using voucher code TDXR-JMF4
New customers get £10 off using TDX-H4JW

Note, these are selling out very fast and if the iPad2's release is anything to go by, coupled with the reported problems with display panel supply, these will be going for at least £60 above the rrp on fleebay by early next week!
Edit - Or if you can sell 2 at £599 each, like ebay item 200728770193 (thanks zermattbusby) then it's BUY 2 GET 1 FREE :-D

PS. To all the Apple haters, this is a luxury item and not a neccesity. I'm an Android fan but cannot deny the iPad (jail broken) is currently the best tablet.

For latest UK stock levels check here:

Update: the £15 code doesn't seem to work for some people (you may need to make sure you're signed upto ClubCard). I got the code in an email last night so it may not be for everyone. Also, it only allowed me to use it once. So, created a new account and used the £10 for a 2nd iPad but it wouldn't let me use the £15 code on the new account for a 2nd order.

Update2 - chalkysoil (thanks)
Checkout this link for details regarding the £15 code:

TDX-H4JW - is for existing customers and saves you £10, and is not for new customers.

Thanks for the youtube vid fluidz!
The £10 Code IS for New customers, you have to make sure you use a different email address. I got the code from Quidco: quidco.com/tes…?ac
Alternatively, you can get an extra years warranty from John Lewis instead of the ~£28 discount from Tesco.

Don't forget 6 months interest free for Tesco Credit Card holders

These are selling out fast, John Lewis is out of 32Gb models.
Personally I reckon the 16Gb is best value. It's manufacturing cost is estimated at around £200, so paying another £80 (costs Apple £10) for 16Gb more memory is daylight robbery! Your better off getting a camera connection kit/adapter for £3.19 and using memory cards or USB sticks or even cloud computing.
As for the 4G capabilities, by the time 4G becomes available nationally all the main rivals Samsung, HTC etc. will have 4G phones which will come with bundled data plans allowing you to create a wifi hotspot.
I currently use my iPad2 via my Android phone on Orange network through an app called 'WIFI Tether'.

Update:
Recommendation: Do NOT buy a 4G version. See page 18 of comments for reasons why!

Hot, but not worth upgrading from my Ipad2
Cant get the £15 code to work
Umm, has anyone tried the £15 off code for existing customers (TDXR-JMF4).

Just tried it and it's saying "Sorry, the eCoupon could not be accepted as you do not qualify for this promotion. Tip: Please ensure that your account has your most up to date Clubcard details set in the ‘My Account’ section to ensure that we verify your details correctly."

I've checked my clubcard and all's okay with that.

Can you do this without jailbreaking it?

The 15£ code is for NEW customers
Hot price, any discount is good. My wife works for Argos though so I get 10% off one!
Personal experience, I'm going to have to vote cold - tried to order but the voucher code didn't work so still £399 and therefore not a hot deal for me.
existing customer code doesnt work

No jailbreak needed.

Alternative is to buy from John Lewis and get 2 years warranty
Code doesn't work
@fluidz - are you a new customer? I guess the £10 saving is ok if you are a new customer and I would have gone for it if the £15 for existing customers worked.

That said, I would probably rather wait a couple of weeks and walk into a store (Apple prob) and pick one up as opposed to finding out that Tesco is actually out of stock after ordering!
have a read of this thread before you give up on the code hotukdeals.com/dea…722
FYI - if you know anyone who is a student, buying direct from apple is 387.60 and you can get cash back as well
good stuff, ordered my directly from apple couldn't risk it
why is this a deal, the £10 is of all sales over £50....

Nope, been a customer for god knows how many years.. I just removed the Ipad from the Basket and readded another one, different colour, and reused the TDX-H4JW code - again the £10 discount was applied so i'm not sure where you guys are going wrong?

It's a deal because it works out to be the chepest new iPad available at the moment, is it really that hard to understand?

Because it's the cheapest Ipad deal out there at present.. And its saving people money off the Rrp, many people as it was launched today.
Art & Fashion students across the country salivate at the prospect of their loans coming through next month, oblivious to the fact they will then have to spend the next few months not being able to afford food.

Thanks!
Just brought mine :-)

As an existing customer, I couldn't get any of the codes to work but did find out that I'd got £25 of unspent Clubcard Vouchers and could have 6 Months BNPL on the Clubcard Credit Card (plus extra clubcard points) so for me it's the cheapest 32GB iPad (+ Accessories) out there!

Didn't know whether to quote this one or fluidz post - no it's not a deal because to most of us it's not the cheapest new iPad out there as the codes aren't working!!

With the iPad2 it was about 3 months before Apple stores had enough stock for you to be able to just walk in and buy one! This time it could be a longer wait....
This was posted a couple of hours ago and expired because the code doesn't work?

That was my deal! It has gone up to £3.40 now so it is getting a little pricey. I personally think that the 32GB WIFI is the one to get despite the extra cost. It is not really about cost of production it is about what it is worth to you. I sometimes have over 16GB of apps (batman is 1.2GB) if I have put a few games on there and you can't run those from an SD card. The 4G version also has GPS so it depends what you want to use the ipad for. I think I am going to stick with my 32GB WIFI ipad2 until they jailbreak the new one.
I have ordered using the £15 off code, Tescos emailed me the same one as above, free next day delivery too
Was going to get this until I realised 4g was not going to function in most of Europe so will wait for the next one! I'm still using the original iPad and it was only the screen and 4g that interested me.
Just tried it again and neither codes work. The new customer code (as you would expect) don't work for me being an existing customer.

Congratz to fluidz:)
avoid these people, wait a bit longer, because sharp (the makers of the screens in the ipad) have stated they cannot include the new better screen in this batch of ipads because they are behind on manufacturing them. what ive read on itproportal. but a good deal none the less.
