for me the best day to go in for these is sunday. by then they will let you have more than 2 of each (if they have loads left like the burgers last week!) also if something has sold out before the week is up it usually get replaced with similar or better deal

not as good as the asda 50p deal imho but i will still vote hot as its cheap x

sossidges are RANK loads of bits of gristle and lips in them. Did anyone watch the most disgusting food on t.v i can see why they are so cheap.

Burgers are A1 though,

bacon cant really go wrong with that as for the other stiff pretty much the same price as other supermarkets its just to get you in there shopping...

The 'Max per customer ' Id suggest if u want more than 2 to try your luck , i have not been told of such a limit and i work on the checkouts ..

or another tip , notice the colour of the aprons on the staff , try and find a odd one out i.e. with a Blue apron , this normally means he/she is from the shop floor and probally wont know any thing about the max limit

:w00t:

EVERY one of ours is told about the limits! should be on your board as you goto start work. also its not hard to remember that everytime the 50p deals are on then the max is 2.

I newver know they did eggs in 4 packs, is this an error or a way of bringing the price down.

Thanks for posting was hoping they would do this again - heat added

cheers welshy x

not that amazing thsi time round for 50p, though ive found the 50p sausages very nice in past and a reasonable meat content considering

Brill deal for bacon . Had the burgers but didnt like the look of the sausages

Thanks...

We normally don't. There the bettabuy packs but obviously with 4 instead of 12.

Morrisons at Maidstone is, in my opinion, the worst supermarket in the country due to building work, dust all over foods and dubious staking of clapped out freezers, food thaws out regularly. Staff are also the rudist I have encountered. But that is just from personal experience. So I would not be tempeted in even if it were free. My health is worth more to me. Voted Cold (Just because of Maidstone!)

our store does have a strict 2 of each deal per person,

If you tried your look it would depend on whoever was on the till - my advice is head for the young looking student who wouldn't give a toss

offers aren't as good as last time, sausages and burgers were v.nice

i bet it was an old safeway!

I work on checkouts at morrisons in Cromer, come to my checkout and I'll let you have more than 2 as long as you are friendly and put them through on seperate transactions. This makes you happy and prevents me from getting bitched

I have actually had the sausages, as my parents bought them, and suprisingly, they are really nice, these one's in the deal.

Usually cheap sausages ARE rank, but not these ones

Great idea but we all know this is just to get you into the store and spend as much money as you can.

yeah becuase if you come in only to get the 50p deals you are forced to buy other stuff

Morrisons FAR FAR better than Asda - they discount the everyday and healthy items and not the processed, artery-blocking rubbish Asda want you to buy every week.

well nothing on 'our noticeboard' and i havnt been told i cant sell any more than 2 of these items

only special offers on BOGOF normally have a limit , i cant see why a reducied item would

Yes you are quite right.........Maidstone was an old Sfaeways.

Jaysus, remember Safeways? Heavy discounting on 2 or 3 items - everything else Asda-quality goods at Waitrose-quality prices. Good riddance.

good deals

The only good part of the latest 50p offers are the sausages and perhaps the bacon.

The rest would only cost between 55-90p when sold at full price. I notice the loaf in the offer is specifically the 'Extra Thick Sliced' variety too, which is hardly the most popular type.

its the loaf i get all the time and have to get one put away as by 4pm everyday theres none left! i'll be getting a few for the freezer as its gone out about 30p in the last year!

Couldn't agree more ... I've gone off Asda in a big way. Just don't like their products that much... Morrisons far superior and often a lot cheaper on some stuff. Sudafed is my favourite deal still after many weeks ;-)
