This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

First of all it’s 5G sim only that’s unlimited data text and minutes yes that’s right unlimited data at max uncapped speeds. 5G service if it’s in your area , entertainment pack included and global roaming plus which is better than three as they limit roaming speeds when abroad unlike Vodafone. I have tested this few times as wife is on Voda and I’m on three. Also it’s the new max unlimited entertainment pack normally £36
Cash back deal but hell its £20 basically with free entertainment. I have Spotify which is £10 itself and then your basically paying £10 for future proof 5G unlimited data, text , minutes, boom
Good by three nice knowing you.

Absolutely zero need for 5G for domestic customers.

Shocked Vodafone out of all networks got there before anyone else with unlimited 5G sim only. Even beaten Three and this deal isnt bad either.

Is there a link to check 5G coverage?
Hot from me.
Congratulations, perhaps first post for 5G sim that I hope will get hot here quite quickly.

Heat for a very good deal. When you take into account everything your getting. Remember at the moment there is only 5g in 7 cities in the UK and also there are limited amount of 5g handsets at the moment. But again. Even if you never used 5g this is still a great deal for unlimited everything
Hmmm 18 months sim Only.
Good deal but shouldn't be encouraging Vodafone to start 18m sim only contracts now

If a network is finally willing to go to unlimited data over 5G, I’ll happily compromise and tie in for an additional 6 months

Excuse my ignorance but how does the cashback work? Is it Quidco and not guaranteed

It's unlimited and if you can tether with it you can use to replace your broadband where the speed is useful.

It means that 4G is MORE than sufficient for 99.9% of non-business customers.

Fair comment. Though i wouldn't be wanting to setup permanent networks off the back of 5G.

Good job unlimited 4G data works out to be much cheaper, huh?
Early days for 5G

There is, latency in theory should be much improved

Latency on any non hardwired connection.

Agree on the dearly days. People will be moaning about it before you know it.
I’m not sure why the 5G bashing brigade have shown up. Is this sim only unlimited 5G and in no way capable of unlimited 4G/3G too? (Rhetorical).Look at the price for unlimited data.

I know a lot of people who use mobile data for their home broadband because it's faster and cheaper than any landline option where they live. I'm definitely considering it when my broadband contact ends because there are plenty of times when something won't load on my phone on WiFi but when I switch to mobile data it works perfectly.
There is a slightly cheaper one for 5G unlimited everything on there as well. £32 a month with cash back taking it down to £17 a month. And only a 12 month contract

I can't imagine 5G covering anything other than city centres for years to come. It will back onto 4G.

Emporers new clothes
Would this plan default to 4G ? The price is really good for unlimited data.
These new tariffs are actually a step backwards when you look between the lines. Yesterday you had 500mins to E.U. included which now reduced to 100mins. What Vodafone is now implemented is pretty much what they do over in mainland Europe where you have speed limits introduced until you pay full whack.

The cash back deal is great but I never ever get the redemption thing right.

TopCashback is potentially paying £100 for the new SIM only deals direct when going via Vodafone.

Re 5G, pretty useless at present unless you live round the Thames in central London. Also the higher frequency will not be as good signal wise indoors. We are years away from this becoming mainstream considering the limited 5G devices being available.

Tethering included? Definitely a deal breaker.

maybee right now however as with every speed increase developers start using more bandwith intensive ways of delivering content so eventually you will need 5g
But you'll a need a phone that supports 5G as well right, so potentially an additional cost on top of the sim card.

Great thanks. Shows no 5G for me. No point for me at the moment then, I guess south east London is not high on their priority list

Does it come with a speed restriction?
anyone tempted to throw this into a router and ditch their ADSL?

That one is for the slower packages, which is limited to 10Mbps, I believe so wouldn't recomend getting that if you've planning on using 5G.

That's the plan, 4G has pretty much replaced my home broadband already so can't wait until 5G routers are finally released

Not on the max package.
Great stuff , get the sim then only have to wait 14months for the iPhone to be 5g ready

Despite living in a large city centre that will be in the initial 5G rollout, BT have never fitted fibre, no Virgin either, so ADSL2 is the best we have ever had. Which means the fastest has been around 14Mb, many below 8Mb.

So you are quite wrong that 5G is not needed.
38032468-BVq8U.jpgFound better deal on the unlimited sim on that site. £17 after cashback for the unlimited max (no speed caps) for 12 months
If I was to add an Apple Watch sim to this at a later date would the cash back still track as the bill would be for a different amount ?
