That still doesn't seem to answer the original question. Is the £12,995 price with the £2000 scrappage allowance or not?

Vauxhall are doing new owners a favour. They are scraping the car for you in advance. Normally the best thing to do with an As(h)tra(y).

Vauxhall --> Opel.
German company. You Brits didn't want to have Opel on the British market because that company was making bombs during WWII which were dropped on London.
So you have Opel but under badge of Vauxhall. It's not an American company.
It belongs go GM but it's old German company.

Opel didnt make bombs, they made fruits.
No Bluetooth or air conditioning, that's essential on cars these days. Very disappointing.

Not quite.

Vauxhall is a trading name of General Motors UK Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors in the United States.

General Motors, unlike most other car manufacturers, prefers to sell their cars under historical names associated with that country.

So yes, if you go to Germany, you will find essentially the same car on sale badged as Opel. Whilst Opel was the name of an old German company, like Vauxhall was the name of an old English company, Adam Opel AG is today also a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors in the United States.

LOL - they are called Starburst today.

Actually Opel started off producing sewing machines, and then later went onto produce pedal cycles.

During the second world war their Rüsselsheim plant produced aircraft parts for the German Luftwaffe.

A lot more places than London suffered from bombing during the war. Or did they keep all the Opel bombs specifically for London? Perhaps Coventry got VW ones?
The 20,000 mileage allowance is tempting if that's per year and not the term.

This deal makes no mention of finance. It says it's £12995.

If you take the finance agreement it will cost you a total of £17,389 (excluding trade in allowance) if you keep within the terms

Then perhaps you should have listed it at the correct price (excluding trade in) of £14995?
If you can't correct it, then maybe you should report it and ask a mod to correct it for you.

Still a cracking deal though

This is to do with the halves and thirds of a credit agreement.
If you've paid a third of the to line cost, inc deposit, trade in and payments so far they can't repossss without a court agreement.
When you've paid half, including the payments above, then you can hand the car back without 'penalty' when you discover the car is a pile of poop. The mileage allowance is so that you don't do 40k a year, then pay up half and hand it back in 2 years. It's to try and preserve some of the value in that kind of situation.

They used to sell Opel's in the UK in the 1970s. Other German companies do very well in the UK, we aren't too fussed what they did between 1930s and 1945.

Yes they are an automatic addition along with driver IQ downgrades for when they sit in the car. That way they get activated every time the wheel is turned off centre.
Not sure why it needs such large wheels/tyres and looks sporty when it's mega slow

Is that the royal we?
You might not be, but I can assure you my granny is. She won't forget the night they bombed her out of house & home.

Needs to include £2000 scrapage allowance.
