    Not sure how this 'super' model is brand new, as the last super models on autotrader were from 2019 with nothing newer

    I've been looking at selling my Giulia Veloce and replacing it with one of these. One of the main things putting me off though is that when I put the reg or VIN in to ePER to checkout the build of say a 69 reg 2020, I find it was manufactured in 2018. Some of the 2019's are manufactured in 2017...

    My guess would be these for sale now are already 3 years old.

    Glad to see that diesel cars are still being sold. They do return much better fuel economy than their petrol equivalents.

    I just checked & there's a 25p/litre price differential between petrol & diesel at my local Jet station. Petrol's 147.9 p/l vs 172.9 p/l for DERV. On my reckoning, at these prices, a diesel engine would need to be 17% more fuel efficient that a gasoline engine just to break-even! Is it any wonder that sales of diesels are falling off a cliff.     I would be going for the 2.0 petrol also on offer to be honest. I have the same engine in my wrangler and it's been great. Plenty of torque and significantly quicker then the diesel.

    An independent review, and some context on the price:

    RRP is from £48,775 to £79,954 (depending on model naturally), at which price it isnt considered good value.

    Also for context, later in same article:
    "The Stelvio is a rival to models such as the Jaguar F-Pace and Volvo XC60, along with the German trio of the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes GLC. Other opponents include the Land Rover Discovery Sport and Lexus NX".

    If that is valid / fair, then £32k is a great price.

    Italian diesel for £31k Thanks but not thanks. Diesel almost 20% more expensive than petrol. Anyway, this car will worth £10k in 3 years. (edited)
