As the title suggests, as a new Amazon Prime customer, you can accumulate $37 of credit towards a new game if done correctly. I recommend doing it as soon as possible. It takes time to award your credit and Prime-day is soon.

Step 1. You can get a free trial of Amazon Prime here -> [Amazon Prime 30-day Trial Landing Page](https://www.amazon.com/gp/prime/ref=nav_logo_prime_join) . Use an address that is tax free like Alaska. Just remember to cancel your trial trough account / Prime. This gives you a $12 discount off physical game pre-orders.

Step 2. The first $10 can be earned by going to the [Watch Prime Video Landing Page](amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=16979032011) and following the instructions. Essentially, sign into Amazon Video on a smart device from the list on image 2, like a PS4 and watch a Prime video. I recommend 'The Grand Tour' because it's original content and heavily advertised... plus you'll likely get hooked.

Step 3. The second $10 can be earned by going to the [Sign-in to Amazon App landing page](amazon.com/b?us=UTF8&node=14730500011) and following the instructions. Essentially, download & sign into the Amazon app with your new Prime account. Just browse around a little to be safe.

Step 4. The final $5 can be earned by going to the [App Assistant Landing Page](amazon.com/gp/…omo?us=UTF8&bitCampaignCode=a0050) and following the instructions. Essentially, after signing-in and clearing your basket, you install the browser add-on through the link. I recommend Chrome as it seems stable and handy. You then click on the assistant extension in the corner and continue through the tutorial.

...All you have to do is change your country location to the US in settings, back out of settings and press the button to redeem the deal in the extension. To make extra sure, add the game you plan to buy to your cart through the extension and go to the payment screen of checkout. This should confirm you have the $5 credit. You can then uninstall the extension.

Now just wait. Your credit should all be available within 4-7 days, in time for Prime day. Read the info / faq of each offer to know exactly when your credit will be available.

This means you can pre-order any $60 game w/ cheapest shipping for only £35 / €40. Please remember to create your real address as a secondary address and pick that as your shipping address when buying the game!!

I hope this helps somebody.

Some games are region locked so would be no good in the UK.

Your thinking of previous generation systems and games. PS4 Xbox one and even Switch i believe are region free. Only one i can think of that is region locked is wii u and 3ds but they are last gen systems...

Seems good deal but there are a LOT of hoops to jump through a lot of potential for it to go wrong. Don't see how it would work for uk customers as you would have to set a us address surely? But then wouldn't anything you order go to that wrong us address?

What does it come to in NZD?

Its a lot easier to sign up for new amazon prime membership trial in the uk and use the £10 off £40 orders on the prime now app than this

There is no mention of current gen/last gen systems in the post or my reply, which is why mine is a generic 'some' games are region locked, which is correct.

That's a lot of hassle to save £5-£10 max. You then get an import copy which probably won't arrive for a week or so after release, and could be hit with custom charges...

and could be hit with custom charges...

Amazon.com include any customs charges in the price when sending things to the UK.

So many ridiculous hoops to jump through to save not very much money. Most games are £40 max new anyway if you shop around, often less. Can't even remember the last time I paid over £40 for a new release outside of Switch launch day.

Heat for effort, just way too much work for point and click raiders on this site.

But the deal is for pre-orders. Current gen consoles, region free consoles.

Thanks OP. Tempted to use this to get blinding of isaac and cave story on the switch given that they can't decide on a UK release date.

Nothing to do with Brexit, offers have always been better in the US due to the economy of scale.

Seriously???

The pound is worth much less now after Brexit and the May unstableness election....

So you get less dollars for the pound.... not sure where economies of scale come In to how many dollars you get for your pound.

Brexit and election damaged the pound and that's a fact

Well yes, deals in America always differ, never straight forward conversion rate factor.

If you weren't aware Sales tax, VAT in UK is charged automatically at 20% on all eligible goods, in America Sales Tax is added at time of purchase dependant on State so some states may be more than others.

It has been like that for many years.

Amazon sell from all other the world, in UK they pay duty and now some Taxes on imports and sales!, they never used to hence recently why deals not as good compared to US side of things.

Ouch, pretty cold in here. oO

So says the leaching slimeball.

that made me lol. "leaching slimeball", no just not desperate to save a few quid. do you go around the streets picking up pennies, raiding ashtrays for butts, thought so. Terrible insult BTW.

Pre orders are available on PC not just console. They normally come with a Steam code which can be region locked. Come at me bro's*

*(no don't, i'm not even going to sub to this BS)
