iPod shuffle is jaw-droppingly small and enormously colorful in black, silver, pink, blue, and green. And even more brilliant, the VoiceOver feature tells you what song is playing and who's performing it. It can even tell you the names of your playlists, so you can easily find one to match your mood. With VoiceOver and with the controls conveniently located on the earphone cord it's even easier to navigate your music. And you can browse without taking your eyes off your run, your ride, or whatever you're doing. Clip a 2GB or 4GB iPod shuffle to your sleeve, running shorts, or backpack and take up to 1,000 songs wherever you go.

Hi anyone know what dock is like??

Hi
I have had a look on Apple and the dock they are advertising looks like the old shuffle dock. Basically it just a stand to put your ipod on & charge.
Apple are doing free engraving & delivery but it costs £45 so more but less chance of getting it pinched.

Argos are doing them for £45 with half price case £19.99 & voucher £5, this still makes it dearer but if you want a case its your choice, but offer ends tomorrow. Old style is£31

tesco direct is £44.97 with double club points http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.206-0472.aspx" target="_blank" class="link" rel="nofollow noopener">direct.tesco.com/q/R…spx

So Asda is better value if you pick up in store but i quite fancy the engraving.
hope this helps ive not done a post like this before so be gentle.

all colours of the 2gb shuffle now seem to be out of stock ... :-(

Hot from me

I have the previous ipod shuffle and it's very friendly and robust. Never breaks down, huge battery life and brilliant for running. It's even been through a 60 degree hot wash and survived. Well recommended.

in my opinion this new design change with almost no buttons is a complete fail. The reason you initially bought a Shuffle is to change tracks really easily on the go. This new Shuffle has changed that: I don't want to click buttons in certain order, or bark commands at my mp3 instead

I've got the new shuffle and have to say I was apprehensive at first with the one button controls everything but am now just used to it and it's very easy, 2 clicks for forward, 3 for back. The voiceover is great and makes changing playlists a breeze.

I've got the old Shuffle and this thing looks ugly in comparison.

is it me, or does paying for a 2gb mp3 @ £40 is a little excessive?

plus itunes = epic fail

i am not apple hater (have a nano myself, the 3rd gen) and i am also not a apple lover.

not going vote for this

Well that argument would then mean that people should stop buying suits from topman and start buying them from those corner store shops, after all they are JUST suits!

It's all about the brand image and Apple is known for its iPod. I've had iPods and currently have an iPhone using itunes (default player on the macbook anyways) and syncing couldn't be any easier! Never had any problems...besides, don't exactly get what you mean by itunes=fail...

Voted hot BTW:)

I ordered one last night and they took my payment then sent me an e-mail this morning saying I would be refunded my monies as they do not have any more in stock, you can get these direct from apple with free engraving and free delivery for £5 more.

dunno where u get ure suits but topman suits are all that, and as far as i am aware cornershop don't sell suits.

u seem to be another sheep following the clever marketing ploy that apple has
and u've clearly answered that u prefer looks over substance, thanks lol

Well cornershop meaning those cheap clothing stores that sells more or less everything including suits.

Well in terms of your 2nd point, if i have a product which does all the things i need it to do, how am preferring looks over substance?
