It's not strictily 'new' though is it. It's the last-gen Core i3.

That said, for an IPS screen of this size and resolution, this still represents great value.

And no, I dont own or need a Mac!

So so tempting
Only couple hundred or so more than a 27" IPS monitor, not a bad deal.
These have actually been cheaper. Dixons had them around £800 refurbished in the past few months

For the 27" ?
still 3 available. If it doesnt sell within the next couple of weeks, will they reduce the price...? getting hopeful here haha
Really tempted also, have really fancied the imac 27" since first seeing one, beautiful machine. Need to talk myself into this. If only it was the i5 Cant have it all though
Is the current i5 model worth the extra few hundred?

yes, the i3 is really old and slow, also doesn't have build in hd camera or thunderbolt
be careful!! These ones from Currys are not officially refurbed through Apple. Currys do it themselves, so your warranty is with Currys NOT Apple...I nearly bought one of these from Currys until somebody pointed this out to me. I ended up buying from the official Apple Refurb store...you get a years warranty, the item was as brand new...the only difference was the box it came in was just a plain white one rather than the printed version...

Highly recomend refurb for value for money (seeing as they are expensive anyway)
These are new, or so they say
Grabbed one from dixons for around £800 a month or so back. Aside from the brown box, it looked brand new.

New to me means it's unopened and has been used by no-one else, what your stating is latest model which I haven't said

Me too (I posted the deal on here, was £700 odd)
Not that good a deal. This iMac came out in early 2010 so it's 18 months old, and even when it first came out it wasn't cutting edge (dual core i3).

The guy that said that this is only a couple of hundred more than a 27" IPS is deluded. They can be had for less than £400.

Expired anyway - item ended.
