Very nice car !!! Good price too !!!
If I stopped smoking 10 years ago now I would have £35000 for this car. Now I fill stressed . I need cigarette to come down

£8 a week - killer.

Exactly! £35k for a premium car, but no, not spending £8 a week on tax

That's the exact mindset of so many people!

Cool……bought 4!

Did you go through Qudico I think for new buyer they have £15 cash back as well
Or for the same money you can buy a 2 years old relatively low mileage Q7.. with Audi build quality, if from a sensible owner, it would still look new, and still in manufacturer warranty. You get better tech, better ride, more powerful and extra pair of seats in the boot which fold down completely flat. Also you don't pay extra road tax if it was pre April 2017.

One of the best SUVs, rated by most car journalists. Price reduction reflects a new version releasing next year, heat anyhow.

Just remember the actual list price is over £40k so road tax will be £465 a year for the next 5 years!
Nice, does this model have the fully digital interior like the a6 ? I was thinking of an a6 but could be swayed if it doesnt have the ugly looking sat nav

Ok it's the bog standard, prefer the a6. Thanks for that, audi has cleverly taken shots that do not show you it looks like every other car rather than the minimalist design they are changing to now. A6 it is.

Cool story
Lease it
Road tax will be very expensive for years as list price is over £40000
Would make more sense with its replacement imminent, the new Q5 will probably take the high tech interior available now in the a8, a7 and a6, this will look ancient in comparison.
Lease...,

You meant facelift and not new model?

My point exactly - the 'tax' is a fraction of a percent of the overall costs, not even a talking point.

Clearly some people have more money than sense
As the tax is only a few hundred a year, those buying a 40k wont be worrying too much about a few hundred every 12 months, they will likely only keep it 2 years maybe three before chucking it in for a new-en, especially when they see how dated it looks compared to its replacement.
Cool bought 10(y)

True. But who wants to pay more tax than they have to, even if they can easily afford it?
Don't you need to know the final option price to be able to decide if this is a good deal?
Why not lease it?
F pace killer

thought this was the lease price, if you pay cash the price goes up.

He's being an internet millionaire, absolutely no intentions of buying this or an A6.

I’m gonna spend £2k on a holiday but I’m not paying £25 for luggage....same thing

£2k don't get ya far on hols these days bruv! Just take a carrier bag innit.
Disagree, I'm just about to take a holiday costing over 2 grand, for that I expect the carriage of items I will need over ten days. I am not an internet millionaire, very much the opposite, but I have no mortgage and no debt, an Audi A6 with less than 15,000 miles can be had for £25,000. That's a list price vw golf new. But I would rather a sub 1 year old A6 as it better suits my needs when I do a 600 mile each way trip 3 times a year. £500 a month for a car isnt just for millionaires but for people on a modest income who like their cars. Yes the A6 has some issues, poor to respond on the accelerator, but I require 4 when drive and want a vehicle that can cope with overtaking as I live in a very rural area where we have alot of farm vehicles and slow drivers. I like the interior of the new A6 and like the space it offers. The Q5 is a fine vehicle for someone who wants a SUV but I would prefer a saloon or estate, the A6 is the vehicle that most suits what I am after as I cant afford the T8 V80 and the BMW 5 series touring and the Merc E class is soon to be replaced, it seems the sensible buy.

Seems unfair to make that accusation without evidence: these are mid range cars, you don't need a top 1% income to afford one.
Great price for a great car
I thought this is hot uk deals looking for 1p parsnips at Aldi and now this lol
Would advise against PCP on this, its value will bomb once the new model comes out next year and you’ll be stuck with negative equity for the duration. If you plan on keeping it for the full term, fine. If not, better with a lease.
