Great price for New Balance. Hot from me
Will these get me to the pub quicker than Adidas ones, the ones with the go faster stripes?

Yes, especially if you run a bit faster in them.
These any good?

I have just bought a pair, will let you know once I have used them X). On a serious note 1 five star review so not sure.
Hot deal! Must be cautious of sizing with new balance! At least that's my experience!

They tend to be smaller I think.
I am normally a size 9, and like nike I need to buy these in a size 10
Thanks, ordered a pair for DS - no point spending a fortune as his feet just keep growing!

Tried that and it said it was not valid (even though I signed up for a credit account). Nothing in the T&C's that I could see but I wonder if the order needs to be over £30 to get the discount (as per previous discounts).
Since when did new balance become a fashionable Brand?
ordered, thanks :-)
Pretty ugly shoes, OK for the gym I guess but not running shoes, you can usually get shoes with rrp of £100 for £50 and I don't think you should spend less of you are running more than once in a blue moon.
Good deal! Love New Balance, 574 maybe better!:)

I do agree there are some terrible running shoes out there (bought a pair from ebay for £12 which I'm sure had nails sticking into my feet), but you cant go wrong with these, as long as they are comfy there is no point in spending more, they wont make you run faster!

No but more expensive ones will have more cushioning which will help protect you knees and other joints
going fast black size 12 out of stock !
Thanks OP, heat added, went for blue and orange...should not lose them around the house lol

Pressure on the knees is the reason I'm actually buying these. ATM I'm running in a plimsoll-type shoe with no cushioning at all so they certainly cant be any worse than them.
What about their sizes? Usually I buy adidas 11, should I get 12?

I have addiddas and NB, both size 8 glove fit
Thanks OP!
Geoblocking accounts and auto-rejects purchases if you've not been resident at your address for 3+ years? I can understand if you want a credit account, but for pre-paid purchases that's ridiculous. Nice price for a pair of runners, but they can **** off with their stupid payment POS check practices for pre-paid account creation.

Cold on that basis.
How do these compare to Nike free runs?
They just called me to confirm my details and the order.

Estimated collection for click and collect is 29th March
2 weeks for delivery though

As pointed out, there is a reason to spend more - namely cushioning and form reasons. Other trainers could make you run faster also as they could be lighter. But I'm sure these New Balance will be good for the majority of buyers.

As for sizing, pop into your local Sports Direct and try on a pair then hop back on the Internet when you know what size you need.
When asked to prove that their running shoes prevented injury none of the major brands were able to.

There is a difference between a really cheap, badly designed and made running shoe ... but once you've spent £30 there is no extra quality to have. "Cushioning" doesn't cost an extra £50. £100 running shoes are still made in third world sweatshops for £2. Once you are paying over £50 you are paying for image and advertising.
good price on running shoes
MattsBits... No running shoe manufacturer would ever admit to preventing injury ,that would be opening the litigious floodgates to open, they can only help you from not getting an injury.
I have some New Balance, I'm a 10, bought a 10. They are tighter than other brands 10, but not enough for me to go for an 11.
Just bought the New Balance M680V2 and the sizing is half a size smaller than I usually have. Considering your meant to change your running shoes every 400 or so miles I'm not going to **** away hundreds on a pair, I'll keep getting the £30 - £50 pairs as I'm not a competition athlete! Heat from me OP
