I've just started running, and I found these on M and M. I've been looking for a pair of trainers with good cushioning, and these seem to fit the bill perfectly. I know these are last seasons 'model', but for a newbie like me to running I don't mind as long as they do the job! This is actually the second pair I've bought, and they cost £44 the first time round!

A quick look on the internet shows that these running shoes are retailing for around £40-£70. I'm trying to find a review for these trainers and I'll put this on later!

Colour: White/Grey/Orange
Product Detail:
This top of the range cushioned shoe features an ABZORB FL® midsole housing a full-length perforated ABZORB® strobel sock with ABZORB DTS® in the heel and ABZORB SBS® in the forefoot. A Stability Web in the midfoot reduces weight and maintains torsional integrity. Its supreme fit is due to a supportive N-Lock unit, a Lightning Dry material to dispel perspiration and a seamless Phantom Liner throughout.

Hot deal, the only downer is its best to get fitted for your running trainers, rather than just buying them cold off the shelf, but I guess if its a repeat purchase for you, this is perfect.

not voting, but the colour looks a bit girly for a mens trainer

:-D I have to admit that when I was buying them, I had second thoughts because of the colour! However, they are not as garish as they look in real life! Anyway, when you go running in the night, you will be spotted at least 10 miles away :p!

I was actually cheeky, and got myself measured up at a proper running shop and then based on what they told me to buy, I did some research over the internet to find the best trainers to get. I think that the new style is the New Balance 1063. Although these are last season's, I personally think that they are good. I am a neutral runner, who requires cushioning as I am slighlty heavier than normal  (hence the reason to run :-D!)

hot if you know you need a neutral shoe.

and agreed - if you want to do a fair bit of running, particularly on paved surfaces, then get a "Gait Analysis" done.

all good running shops will do this for free, and they will look at whether you need any motion stability and recommend a shoe best suited to the arches of your feet, whether you land with your forefoot or your heel and the width etc.

Sweatshop at 5th floor Harrods have an excellent free Gait Analysis service and the staff there (most of them at least) are all really good.

I second that - great running shoes - bought them in TKMax for £30. Look great in the flesh

I went for my usual size and they fitted perfectly if that helps people.

Hmmmm?

I 'fink' these have gone now - as I an't find them anywhere - but still hope they do the job for you!!

xxxx

I'll be ordering a pair, thanks.

This should be a direct link to them. I tried to add it to the link above, but it went straight to the homepage of M and M. Also, you need to search for Balance, and you will get a nice selection there.
