Brand New BMW 116i Sport with £249 Deposit and £249 per month. Based on 48 Month term on PCP/Select agreement after a hefty discount. Cheapest around at the moment for a personal contract purchase. I ordered mine last week, apparently this deal is only around until the end of March. Total discount worked out around £3600.

They are also doing 318d SESaloon for £349 deposit, and £349 per month and:

640d M Sport Convertible for £5999 deposit, £599 per month.

Not sure of the level of discount but seems quite big to me.

14k dealer contribution on the 640d convertible

Looks like a good deal to me, so I've booked a test drive to see what it's like.

Thanks (potentially) in advance, OP

Not my ideal choice of car but for that price I'm gonna have a look

That's how much it's always been

No it hasn't actually, APR has changed to 4.9%, it was 5.9% when I was looking last year. So no, it can't have been!

Only 8k miles per year allowance this may kill the deal.

Is there a final payment on this if you wanted to keep it at the end of the 4 years?

That is true..it was enough for me tbh and only really comes into affect if you are handing your car back at the end of the agreement I.e. not part exchanging or paying the balance and keeping it.

£12201 paid over 4 years, then you can either hand it back and walk away (if it has less than 32,000 miles and is in tidy shape) or pay £8470. Total = £20680 against a list price of £21525.

Thanks to the dealer wiping out the credit cost with its £3610 contribution.

So effectively, over 4 years interest free buying the car for £845 LESS than the new car list price.

WhatCar forecast that after 4 years this car will be worth £8000-£8500, with average mileage.
Gotta be hot if you must have new.

The final payment on this plan is also a guaranteed value for when it comes to an end at 48 months which is pretty much the same as what whatcat have forecast

Not sure about this deal - there was a lease deal on the M135i for £249 a month just before xmas on a 24month deal, albeit with £1500 down.

BUT - i would be very surprised if that car was only worth £8k in 4 yrs time, should be worth a few quid more then that so could be a very good way to have a nice car without much outlay.

I am not going to vote either way even though the discount is ok.

As an example, even though this went freezing cold, this would have been a better alternative based on a more expensive car at the same price.
hotukdeals.com/dea…558

Yes, its a Lease, though for those not informed the total cost of the above deal would be below the depreciation alone.

I am going to be biased as I do own an M135i, but for £250 a month for then having an option to buy, I would go elsewhere. I will add, I am only adding the above to inform people, not to start a debate on you can get an Ford ST for this type of money.

It's a good car buy fugly as fugly can be. There's not many BMWs that actually look good, the 6 series is about the best of them for looks.

Love is in the eyes of the beholder, it does not actually look horrible in the flesh.... (it grows on you.... Honestly).
Though, yes, it's certainly no Alfa 4C...... Wow, what a good looking car

Dealer contribution £4,289.26 and Optional final payment £9,823.50 i cannot see any deal here apart from 4.9% Fixed interest. lol

I have the perfect number plate for that on my car!

Might wait till after the snow clears... :-)

Try drive the deal or buyacar.co.uk, you will get similar or bigger discounts, the same 4.9% on all models of 1 series... discoints running about 12% on most BMW.

'Sport' and it's no faster than my Gran's diesel Focus

But nevertheless, decent deal.

I think the 1 series should be called the poor mans car, its the ugliest looking BMW on the market and the lowest series is the 1 series.

Love it how they label it as a sport. There is nothing sporty about this car at all.

Sport in badge only.

M135i being compared to this is ridiculous, There are people out there that may not be able to afford to maintain an M135i or even get insured on one. for them this deal is HOT

well its not supposed to be a formula 1 car.. it is sportier than the inferior models like the SE etc.. calling it a sport does not mean its an M3

I don't mind the look of this latest shape bmw but be warned if your a big well built sort of person there aint a lot of room in these front or rear

Car that costs (and sell) at over 20k is a poor man's vehicle? You must have been working in the City, most of us look at the world from different perspective.

Yes Sherlock it is called 1 series because it is the lowest. . still costs more than the lowest Ford, Renault, Peugeot, Audi, VW. I think these would probably be more suited to that title in that case?

A good price for a BMW main dealer. Historically BMW dealers tend not to offer PCP or cheap personal deals, mostly business previously.

That said there seems to be quite a few cheap lease deals about for various 1 series cars if you take a look on contracthireandleasing dot com and they are on 2 year deals rather than the 4 stated here.

Sorry but calling this a sport based on the 114i being even slower is like calling an oil tanker sporty because it can move faster than a rig
