- Morrisons have launched a new British seasonal veg box for £5, showing online. Convenient if you just want a selection of veg and also saves on packaging.
- Box includes following British seasonal veg: 4x White Potatoes, 4x Brown Onions, 5x Carrots, 2x Courgettes, 2x Leeks, 1x Savoy Cabbage, 1x Cauliflower & 1x Swede.

- Seems to be part of a bigger push by Morrisons on British produce, as have just announced a number of price cuts on British food and extra bonus points, in support of British Food Fortnight.

4 onions- say 0.5kg at 50p/kg = 25p
5 Carrots - say 0.5kg at 80p/kg = 40p
2 courgettes at 1.00 for a 3 pack = 66p
2 leaks at £1.50 for a 3 pack = 100p
1 Savoy cabbage = 70p
1 Cauliflower = 99p
1 Swede = 50p
£4.70 even putting very expensive prices on each of the contents
Is that actually just four potatoes?

Morrisons' £10 Butcher's Value Meat Pack is equally poor value.
They do a decent BBQ pack from time to time. I'm not sure if I've seen the value meat pack though, bud. Not good?
