Found 26th Jan
Spotted this in the Sale, Manchester branch. A breakfast muffin, bacon or sausage, looks a generous amount , plus a freshly brewed filter coffee, including their speciality "double double" coffee, for £2.

Also if if you see my other post, save the receipt for a free baked good, the next time , when you buy a drink

Heat for a new coffee chain with ambitions to become national, in an attempt to disrupt the oligopoly of Costa, Starbucks & Pret.

strange no store in the capital

The rent for a capital store probably covered 5 northern stores

Probably couldn't find any roads without a Costa, Starbucks, Nero, Pret, Krispy Kreme, Artisan cafe, etc, etc, etc.

Watching the NHL, always wondered what a Tim Hortons was like though.

Ordinary. Underwhelming. Tried it last last week.
"Greater Manchester, Warrington, Cardiff and Scotland"

Is that the whole of Scotland?

Tim Hortons coffee is bland, the quality of its expensive food is questionable, and the company has a history of anti-union behaviour and a negative attitude towards its employees. Many fine things have come out of Canada but this ain't one of them. Avoid.

Looking at the locations on the Tim Horton's site there are more in Scotland (7) than in England (6)..However, 5 of these are in Glasgow so not the whole of Scotland but I get your point
5 in Glasgow ?

Try a French vanilla
I've heard good things about the Cardiff store, and the menu does look more my type than the usual coffee shops.

I've always heard Canadians raving about this company! With many ex-pats who now live in the UK missing it! So glad they're opening stores here now too!

I'd agree that the Timbits are underwhelming, the way people have been raving about them I expected them to be better. But the crispy chicken wraps are alright and the French Vanilla is nice (but it's quite sweet so not for everyone). I think for the price it's pretty standard in Greater Manchester, I'd rather eat here than in a Costa or Pret.

People jump on bandwagons. Think its cool to follow like sheep.

Timbits are very ordinary
Iced Frapp is great. Timbits are fun, too.

Breakfast (Sausage and Egg) wasn't too great. Average, I guess.

Unfortunately this huge company which has an 'oligopoly' in Canada is currently subject to protests in Canada as well as serving bog-standard coffee.

I really enjoyed the filter coffee when I was in Toronto recently. So much better than all of the rubbish in the UK chains. I imagine it is nowhere near as cheap here though!
Love the one in Warrington, huge cup of coffee with double cream for £1.60, really nice coffee as well. Bottom of the receipt also has a survey for a free cake, so basically a coffee (regular one 99p) and a Maple donut for 99p continuously.

Had the £2 deal, nice sausage sandwich, nicer than Greggs.

Did you get to try a Beavertail? No plans to come to the UK, sadly...

Not anymore, apparently it's a shadow of its former self. Most Canadians now prefer McDonalds since the company that owns Burger King bought Tim Hortons and implemented cost cutting measures to increase profits.

This is good to know- I like the Greggs £2 breakfast, and I'm in Warrington occasionally, so will take your recommendation and visit them next time I'm there. Looking forward to trying this out!

Wendy's not Burger King
But yes most Canadians are staying well clear
It's a terrible loss. A decade ago they had good food at decent prices
Now it's just American
