Good mouse I am using it as a g600 replacement/side grade.

Buttons 9 and 10 can be awkward to get to whilst playing, as the mouse is longer than it looks in the stock photo, so I have just assigned them to dpi cycle and pause.

The remapping software is more limited than logitechs as it doesn't have automatic profile switching based on the game being played.

I use rewasd for my game controllers anyway so I just set a default profile for the x15 on the evga software and allow rewasd to handle the automatic profile remapping.

Overall the hardware is good but the software could be improved. Good for the deal price but only if automatic profile remapping isn't necessary for you or you have another program that can handle it. (edited)

After losing the Nvidia contact names me think their products aren't that good
EVGA walked away because Nvidia was behaving awfully. They didn't "lose" it

How many buttons would you like on the side of your mouse?
    EVGA: Yes
Precisely, i have 2 buttons on the side of my mouse (steelseries) and have never thought of using them, but if someone has the need..so be it, more buttons the merrier.

It's a wired mouse with lots of buttons so you can't really mess it up I hope. But if it doesn't double click this is a good deal.

As much as I like the idea & concept, I discovered early on that you can't use "enhanced" devices for competitive gameplay (The reason why my Nostromo remains in mint condition!) Also if you play the game regularly enough you will struggle to use other/regular devices. It's a great device, but not for me and not for competition games.
Never played on competitive level, but I find mouses like this very useful for MMO games and its probably what they were designed for. I don't play them as much as I used to, but I really wish I had something like this in my teens when I was playing them religiously. Makes keybinding so much easier.

Is the rest of the numpad on the other side ?
Do you have to use this mouse side on ? (edited)

This is a great mouse overall, I especially like that extra button at the front

Naga X is preferred due to the standard 12 button layout
