Be careful with Milan Bergamo, its never been near Milan...
The distance from Marco Polo airport to Venice train station: It is precisely 12 kilometers from Venice by the road and 10 kilometers by boat across the lagoon ...but Ryanair choose Treviso Airport thats situated 3 Km outside of Treviso city centre and 40 Km from Venice ..... Not Venice is it !!!!
Birmingham is situated 25 miles from my city and even If I could find any reason to go there this would cost me £25. I would rather spend £20 for trip to Bergamo then staying in ghost town Coventry.

does this include, fuel charge and taxes???
Thats a good deal if you never flown with Ryan air before.
Starts in April so I wonder if its connected with this news item today
"Ryanair had planned to increase the number of flights to and from the Essex airport by 5 per cent from April, but will now cut 170 flights across 43 routes a week because of increased fees at Stansted."

Here.

170 flights a week from April, even if they were only 10% booked at present that's a lot of people with their plans badly screwed.

Nice people to do business with
Hate Stansted, go for East Midlands
Any tickets to Rome?

I doubt it, both Stansted and East Midlands airports are now both owned by the same company, MAG ( Manchester Airport Group )..blame them, not Ryanair.

No - nor does it include credit card fees, debit card fees, cashbtransaction fees, hold baggage, cabin baggage, a seat, entry onto the plan or toilet fees. Gotta love Ryanair!

Actually you have to add 2.5% fees to £20 and that is all. If you are not smart enough you gonna pay more..

You obviously know nothing about Ryanair, they have the best punctuality in Europe, they have the most modern fleet of aircraft in Europe, they have the lowest fares in Europe.

So yes, I do love Ryanair.(_;)

Actually, Bergamo is a very beautiful city with a rich culture and fascinating history, which is also closer to the Alpine resorts than Milan, and fairly close to Lago d'iseo. I would choose Bergamo over smelly, dirty Milan any day of the week.

Have they started to charge for on-board air yet?

It's not overly difficult to get from Bergamo to Milan and vice versa as there is a couple of direct bus operators for around 25EUR return from memory. Maybe 1 hour each way. Something like that.

I wouldn't go back to Milan, not a fan. I would go back to Bergamo though, as you say its a very beautiful city and nice little place for a day or two especially the old walled part above the city.
Why is there never any cheap flights to Heraklion Crete???
Hi I realy like this app
Stupid question but I rarely go abroad. When people book these flights they get the hotel separately, it's not cheaper to get the two together?
We fly to Bergamo every year, it's a 45 minute drive to Lake Garda, where we stay, gorgeous part of Italy, and Bergamo itself is very nice!! Bergamo or England, pah, I know where i'm going!! Milan is filthy, and a horrible place to visit, give me Venice, Rome or any other place in Italy.

I have used Treviso before, it is 1-hour bus trip, from literally outside of the terminal in Treviso, going to heart of Venice. Very convenient.

No. Ryanair don't sell via travel agents so you have to get them separately. You can sometimes get good deals via package holidays but it's often cheaper to get the flights and hotel separately (particularly if you're getting flights from Ryanair).
I never really get why people get so stroppy about the airports being far away from the advertised city. It takes me an hour or so to get from Central London to Heathrow via the underground, an hour on a highway at the other end of the flight really doesn't bother me!

I love Ryanair too, always on time and you dont have to waste money on extras like sitting together and extra baggage thats really not needed given the generous hand luggage allowance!

This is key to Ryanair being able to charge the low prices that it does. Ryanair uses airports such as Treviso as they are a fraction of the price of busier city airports. Supply and demand, simple!

Is it not the case that Ryanair overestimate their flight times so as to achieve better than average "punctuality".

All airlines do that, however Ryanair get to their destination at their stated time more often than any other European airline.

No other airline gives you the " early arrival fanfare " like Ryanair.

Look on that as a bonus.. (_;)
apart from a few like Ibiza, they pay low rents to airports that are less busy bringing in also local tourists, biggest winners above customers are actually local hoteliers and cafes shops etc. of course the geezer is very rich too now.

All airlines do that. Although people seem to think it's as simple as "a flight from Gatwick to Madrid always takes X hours" it is nothing of the sort. Flight times can vary greatly depending on congestion at the home/destination airport and on the conditions in the sky. Wind, for example, is the reason why it takes almost an hour more to get from London to New York than it does to get from New York to London.

As Ryanair is run on the basis that it has as many of it's planes in the air as it possibly can at any one time (in peak season anyway) - I don't think they would deliberately over-estimate flight times and have their aircraft sitting around at airports doing nothing. Though maybe they are slightly more cautious than other airlines - you'd have to compare flight times to work it out.

They fly to far more major airports than people think they do (granted in many cases it's probably because there isn't a cheaper alternative nearby).
I hear RyanAir now have planes with outside toilets

Gatwick is hardly London, neither is Luton
Brilliant prices again.

I have flown Ryanair many times and never had a problem.
In the past i have done....
Birmingham - Dublin for 2p return (yes 2p)
Birmingham - Dublin for £2 return
Birmingham - Bratislava for £2 return (5 hours flying for £2) oO

Best punctuality, don't fall for that one! It's because they add 20/30 minutes on the real flight time.

I've no problem with using Ryanair by the way.
