Grab it while you can. Just register for the beta and get it downloaded in 5 minutes. If you have never used it or seen it, it will blow your mind.

(perfect for newer Orange San Francisco/ZTE Blade users who didn't register for the earlier free Beta versions that were released 5 months ago)

From it's FAQ's...

I click the link in my activation email to download Swype, but I'm told that my phone is not an Android device, even though it is! What do I do?

This message means that you may have your brower in "desktop mode", or are using something other than the Android default browser (like Skyfire or Opera Mini). To turn the Mobile View setting back on in the Android browser - Open your browser settings (click menu > more > settings) and locate the option for "Mobile view." Click the checkmark next Mobile View if it is unchecked and retry the download link from your email. If the setting is enabled and you are still getting this error, please head to our forums for support.

Yeah thanks, sorted it now.

Dull

just got it an love it!!big thanx!!

Thanks

SlideIt is much better as you can set up short cuts. I used to love Swipe before i used slideit!

Thanks a lot.

Had this since it came out. Don't think i'd be able to use any other touchscreen keyboard now. One of those where you wonder how you lived without it.

That is ace, Thanks!

Thanks

Hot from me even though I can't install this myself (Galaxy S comes with it already so I can't install the beta)

ta saved me the hassle

anybody having problems using this on htc desire hd? it installs but doesnt seem to work

removes the need to be able to spell - just need to know which letters are in the word and which order (but not how many of each)....now if it could only tell when Im taking the pea in an email (and insert a smiley face to convey cheekiness)

i have desire hd and it works ok, you have to select it as the keyboard but works fantastic on mine

Much prefer ShapeWriter - easier to delete full words (press back twice). Pity that its not updated at the moment. Guess its also a case of using that first so getting used to intricacies of it.

Was working great on my Desire HD right up until I dropped it down the toilet last night!!!!

No signs of life today! :-(

technically this is easier to delete as you need only hold the delete thus one keypress

worked fine on my san fran with 2.2

read previous comments. someone had same issues...

Thanks, I couldn't find the same issue above.

I just tried from a different browser (dolphin) and it was fine this time....

1st time I see this message in any application:

"This input method may be able to collect all the text you type, including personal data like passwords and credit card numbers."

is this ok? as in secure?

its cause it is accessing your phones main memory it is a standard warning, personally i dont tap my credit card number into my phone though

I have galaxy S2 and this works perfectly

boooo - not enough space on my phone......

Works great on my San Francisco on CyanogenMod 7. Only problem is when I type on other touch devices that don't have this, I find myself trying to use it as a Swype keyboard and not getting very far!
