I have 20 of them, so not a bad return. Thanks for the heads-up.

18 games here for free! Love gog connect, just wish they updated it a bit more (only seems to change when there is a major sale on) but still brilliant idea and for free whats not to like...

8 games. Nice. Cheers.

Have I done something wrong, as all of the games came up with a price for me..

sorry if I'm being stupid but I don't get it. I only get them if I already own them on Steam? Then why would I need them on GOG? I don't need to own them twice?

DRM free, what's not to like.

OP does in fact say if you care to read

Thanks.. That's what I thought, but when I read "18 games here for free! " I though I was missing something..

GoG stands for Get on Gwent.

Awesome, DRM Free copies of Frozen Synapse and Frozen Cortex :-D

Thanks, 22 added.

Nice. 18 more games to the list.

that's awesome

Cheers, 21 added over here

Never heard of GOG. If I've got some of those games on Steam already, what is the purpose of this GOG service?

"NO ELIGIBLE GAMES FOUND", i'm so failed...

10 added for me.

What is the point of GoG?
They operate a DRM free policy so you don't need steam or anything to play the games. Yes there is GoG galaxy if you really want it managed similar to steam. Also they search out loads more old games than other platforms and make them compatible on modern computers.

I have these games on steam why would i want to own them again?
Well if you want DRM-free games without needing steam this is one reason. My favourite reason is thinking, worst-case, i lose my steam account(hacked/stolen/cant get in). Now some of the games i have paid for are still mine to play on GoG.

EDIT: By the way thanks for heads up OP got myself 11 titles saving £121 of re-buying them again.

I had the grand total of 1 game, Walking dead, having the DRM free is handy though

Does this mean that if I've got a DRM free game and my cousin wants to install it in his computer, I could just give him the executable file and he could install it as well (similar to what was possible with physical game discs)?

Well then your going into a grey area, technically even though you COULD, its more about if you should. If you catch my drift.

I am not talking about illegally distributing it to everyone, just goving it to family or closed friends. This was always possible with retail copies,2nd hand games, books, tools, you name it... there are thousands of games out there and we cannot buy all. I buy 5, he buys 5 and we swap them them between ourselves... most likely is that we dont even end up playing to most of them.

So, I think it'd be fine if technically possible...

How are the games free? You've already bought them to get them into steam!

Are you really likely to be in a situation of needing to re-buy these games?

basically GOG connect gives you free download copies of certain games you own on steam. For example you own Call of Duty 4 on steam, it becomes available on GOG connect, you can download it on there and then give it to your nan to play aswell. They also usually contains extra pieces of content, such as wallpapers, soundtracks, avatars, guides etc
