Some kinda reverse psychology there like, I voted hot 🔥

Votes are hard to predict on this site - two identical items or very similar can swing in massively opposite directions based on 'the herd' votes and can be influenced by the first few comments.

But we are all mostly brainwashed sheep - it's why Apple does so well
For those interested in the Mediapad M6. Here's the link for €299 (roughly £267) from Amazon Spain as mentioned by @MrSwitch

Why Apple in particular? It's the same for most brands - even Huawei

Just that they are the biggest 'cult' tech company - some good products, but they sell them at crazy prices to people that, predominantly, are won over by huge advertising budgets and social pressure.

Not just Apple doing it, but they are right at the top of the list and got a special mention

Looks easy enough to side load Google play Store from what I've seen so hot from me.
Do they still have the problem of not allowing you to transfer apps to the SD card ?

With a tablet you don't really need to. Obviously depends on how much you rely on Google but I have the matepad pro and found I didn't need to. YouTube works through browser and found my apps using Petal Search.
It's really easy to side load Google play, processor and screen is excellent.

Well, Motorola don't have that problem (at least the one I had didn't) My Sony is a little hit and miss- some do, some don't.

Mediapad m6 or this matepad?

Good question - let me know when you have the answer

Better spec on the Mediapad, so if it is a reasonable price or at least offset with free stuff - then probably that.
Not seen prices or listings from the UK yet though?

Around the same price as this from amazon spain.
Yes that's why, tempted to order but what specs are better or which one is better value? Cheers

Good to know bud, cheers.
I switched from a Samsung to the M6 from Spain and was very impressed.
This looks an excellent deal. I've been looking at quite a few Chinese tablets recently with brilliant specs but they all had one fatal flaw, for me at any rate, in that they could only play Netflix in standard definition. I don't know whether that is the case with this tablet but those intending to buy might want to check

What model?
Wait till the updates are out got a m5 and works mint but stuck on android 8.0 as was a former ee version but for media and stuff works amazing so if non branded well worth it

Some apps only let very small MB to move on to SD cards and some apps after updates restore back to using internal storage without you known, just buy 64gb tablet for apps and use SD for everything else.
Looks good, I've got an old Asus Z500M which was pretty decent at the time, and was abandoned by Asus after 1 update. Been looking for a replacement, although I've also be considering the Duet

i think the M6 is better, there was a deal on amazon spain for about this price. maybe wait for another ?
Note this tablet has no Matepad Pen support. So if you want it for drawing etc. This ain't the device for you.

Even if the case shouldn't really be an issue with 64GB storage. Definitely a very big problem with 16GB built in storage.

Are you sure? Confused about this It mentions the HUAWEI M-Pencil, but I can't seem to find any details on it?
Clearly shows the pencil being used (below) and mentions that it needs to be purchased separately, but not sure what the capabilities are? Keyboard available too - I assume the same as the pro?

The Matepad Pro mentions the M-Pencil, but the bundle deal includes the M-Pen - are they a different product?

Tempted to get this to replace my Ainol (I know!)
Think I'll pass, USA embargo - No Google Apps.
I'm struggling to see the size of the screen on this tablet. It's usually part of the tablet headline but it seems to be missing or maybe just me? What size is this?

Does look like a larger tablet from the photo tho.

No, its a Huawei mobile services device so it uses Appgallery instead of play store. I have a similar tablet and not struggled getting the apps i want.

I was just pointing out that the devices that do that are an exception, not the rule. So it isn't a 'problem' unless you have little internal storage and this tablet has 64GB, more that enough for an average person.

Sorry to comment on everything but from personal experience it really isn't a big deal. Especially from a tablet point of view, i just created a shortcut to the google sites on my tablet home screen. Wasn't difficult.
