Won't buy one of these till they learn how to spell light.

Light = bright/radiant/shine

Lite in Old English and early Middle English meant "few; little; not much;" see little (adj.), which is an extended form of it.
Won't buy one of these till they learn how to spell light.

I know you don't like ordering from china/HK sites, so amazon marketplace for £651 for the 7 pro.

You can get a grade A for under £500

Oof, quite a big markup, I might risk a 7t from AliExpress since they're under £400, what should I look out for to make sure it's the same as UK/possible warranty? Appreciate your work

Lite is a good word to use for branding because it doesn't mean that it is exactly light. The P30 Pro may be lighter than the Lite, so Light would be a poor choice of words. Lite means less of something in marketing talk and has been used for years and years.

Don't blame you in all honesty
Anyone else thinking the battery could do with having a bit more capacity?

Not sure a 3340mah battery would last the day?
Have been looking at the p30 or p30 lite to replace my samsung s8. Is the lite a better phone than the s8? Asking for opinions, I have read reviews and comparisons.

No, apart from possibly battery life, the s8 trounces it in every other area.

Try and get the s9 on black Friday as its amazing
I've been using the P10 lite for 2 years now and it has never disappointed. I can get £100 for the P10 lite second hand, is this a good upgrade for £130?
I am very out of loop with phones, How does this compare to the samsung S8?

I have an S8 but it's looking a bit beaten up these days.

P10 Lite was a solid choice with brilliant specs for its price bracket I'd say this is a decent upgrade but also to look at @MrSwitch deal on the Poco F1 or Mi 9T. I'm stabbing in the dark a bit as don't know you're exact needs and preferences. And there will be others who can give you more details!

Same! I've been holding out on buying a new phone. Hoping eBay comes through with a 20% 🤞
Are Huawei alright to buy again now or something? Google Play Store etc?

Why do you feel the need to buy a new phone when you already own one that is perfectly adequate? That's the real question you should be asking yourself.
