Just FYI, this phone is currently showing as £498 at Wowcamera. I bought the 128GB / 8GB variant from them when it was £523 (it's now £600) after a heads-up from @MrSwitch , and aside from a tracking SNAFU from DPD (which Wowcamera's customer service were really helpful with) everything was great. European model with plug adaptor and 2 year warranty.

The Amber Sunrise is gorgeous, really different, if a bit of a fingerprint magnet.

Heat for this deal, though. Wowcamera won't be for everyone, I know.

Also that colour is only available in 512GB over here I believe.
...not necessarily, as MPN:51094BRH shows it being sold in Nordic countries and former Russian Baltic republics

Actually really great. Like I say, DPD messed up the tracking so it looked like my phone had been sent from Luxembourg but stalled in Belgium. Customer service were really friendly, kept me updated, and actually while we were investigating the phone turned up at my door!

I was a little wary of them to begin with too. You have to pay with PayPal, but I went for PayPal credit which - and I triple checked - gives Section 75 protection and PayPal's own cover for belt & braces if anything goes wrong.

I'd buy from them again definitely, if the price was right.

...speaking of PayPal credit, hope they also offer 0% for 12 months, so will highly likely bite a bullet then and get myself an early Xmas present

Anyone that has a P30 Pro I spotted this deal as well on Amazon just not posted as not direct from them, although mine was delivered today. But the rather expensive Whitestone Dome Glass protector for £15 after using the £30 off voucher.

Mine came with a factory fitted plastic one, I'm just not a fan of the feel of them.

It has a factory fitted plastic protector.

I wouldn't buy this. I got the 8GB 256GB for £550 from eglobal so this doesn't make sense at all. If looks are important to people there are all sorts of wraps available for it.

That's pretty close to the deal I got from them last week, the 128/8 for £523. Typing on it now, so definitely exists! Scan back through the thread for discussion and do shout if you have any questions.

How are you liking it so far? I know you've only had it for a short while, but ya know, it's in my sights though probably not til next year.
The colour looks gorgeous, too.
Forgot to add - I would not buy if screen is triggered all the time by false touches due to curved screen, is that a problem, or not? Cheers.

I haven't had a single false touch yet, so they must've nailed the touchscreen software. The screen is absolutely gorgeous.

A plus point is definitely the speed and the interface - it's lightning quick. I was expecting EMUI to be horrid after coming from a Pixel phone, but actually it's perfectly fine, and some of the additions are really quite useful. It's a wonderful phone to use.

The camera is fantastic, as I'm sure you know, and the zoom and wide angle are revolutionary for my phone photography. I find it just a touch cooler colour balance than I'd like so sometimes need to adjust slightly afterwards in Photos. That's probably personal preference, though, and the 'pro' camera mode allows you to tweak literally everything on the go, so it's fine.

The only other negative point is that the phone is super slippery; I find it slips down even when I'm gripping it by the sides and have to support it with a pinky finger under the bottom (that sounds weirdly rude). Not a problem if it has a case, though, but I rock a nude phone.

And pretty much those are the only slight negatives. I've been chuffed to bits with everything else!

PS. I forgot - the facial recognition is weirdly good every time, and the fingerprint sensor is pretty much bang-on every time too if the light is too dark. It's all a million times better than the fingerprint sensor on my old 3XL.

BBBob, thanks so much for all that valuable info, you've wetted my appetite for the phone even more. I'm currently using an Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and like you, find EMUI to be just fine.
I've used SLR/DSLR cameras for years, and wide-angle lenses have always been my favourite focal length, so really looking forward to using that bad boy camera. Cheers!

I bought it after seeing your comment and just fitted it. I'm not impressed that it's a couple millimetres short at the top and bottom. I kinda regret it to be honest. For £15 I regret the decision and feel dirt cheap glass protectors off ebay over the already good factory screen protector is the better option. Oh well, I live and learn.

Really, I'm really impressed with the quality of it. I mean it might have been nicer with an end to end coverage, but it's still good. I've had cheap LOCA solutions on other curved screens and none have gone on as well as this did.
