I've found wireless chargers hard to find with USB C, and even rarer in white. Heat from me.

Not sure if I'm willing to go for a 2 mile walk around the shop though!

4 reviews out of which two negative and good write up?

If you read the negative reviews you'll see they're written by people who probably struggle to use their own front doors.

I have several of these. They're not 10w chargers so you're not going to get a fast charge, but handy and aesthetically neutral enough to have on a side table for gradual top ups.
Good value and should be decent quality too. Shame they don't include the cable and plug though, but this seems pretty common.

I have one and its brill, it's available in black as well and even charges through the case, might not work if your case is metal but if your phone is Qi wireless then it should work.

Looks great, thanks for posting.
I’ve been looking for one that is marble or that can be fit flush into a desktop or worktop. Any ideas where I can get one like that?
Are these good for your phone battery?
That’s a good price! I’ve picked one up for £14.99 in Argos Christmas Eve as my charger broke. You can get a 5w in Poundland for £5 but this is double the speed so heat added

Definitely won’t work if the case is metal but I’ve had metal cases before and the signal is also affected so I couldn’t recommend them for anyone.
So this wouldn't work for my Nokia 8.1?

Would a standard cable work with this ?
Do these only use electricity when it's charging your phone or should you switch it on and off from the mains when you needs to use it?

Thanks in advance.

Google to see if your phone has wireless charging, if it does it will work.

It's 5w. Clearly mentioned in IKEA description. Seems Op mentioned wrongly

And nicely trolled in the reply by IKEA too!

IKEA certainly used to do one that you could sink into a worktop - I used a hole cutting tool to put holes in the bedside tables for my wife and I - the charger then sits nearly flush with the surface, with about 2" protruding below into the top drawer - I drilled another small hole in the back of the cabinet to feed the wire out to the nearest socket.

It's called Jyssen but I can't see them on the IKEA site any more, but plenty on eBay. IKEA used to sell a hole-drilling kit called FIXA alongside it too.

Well recommended if you can still find one!

Unfortunately the shortcuts are rarely clearly marked.

They're still available under the name NORDMÄRKE in both black and white colours:

ikea.com/gb/…92/

The hole sawing kit Ikea recommend is also available at £4.50:

Worth getting, I've got one in my car so don't need to mess around plugging a cable in every time I drive.

It fast charges with a 2.4A USB adapter.

Better than rapid charging it
Not worth it for a 5W charger.
Compatible with apple watches?
There was a lightening deal for a 15w on Amazon for about £9-10 yesterday. White or black. For a 5w this doesn’t seem worth it.

You can always stop halfway round for some
meatballs, then maybe even a hotdog on your way out
I got one from Santa! Works out a £10.50 with the proper cord. Great quality and works perfectly
Are they sold in store?
Will stay in your drawer after a few times of play, 5w is a joke seeing the fast charging tech nowadays.
They're not that great, pretty slow. I have a 12w for £16 on Amazon. Got it for Christmas, did tonnes of research for it

Yes! Exactly! Mine was about £16 for a 12w on Amazon (no deal) so 5w doesn't seem worth it!
