This seems like a good deal for the spec of the laptop. I have not seen a laptop with the same spec for cheaper.

5th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-5200U Processor
15.6 inch LED Backlit Display with FHD resolution
1TB 5400 rpm SATA Hard Drive
NVIDIA® GeForce® 920 4GB DDR3

In my opinion the graphcs card in this is pretty weak compared to the rest of the system...

I have a dell 15r 7520 which i bought 2yrs ago for around £400 and honestly i suspect my i5 3220 & amd 2gb hd7730 is as good as this.

If you want to game on a laptop i would look for a gtx 860m or higher... But then your more likely looking at around £800

Unfortunately I think this is too high a price for a pretty standard laptop, and that's why you're getting cold votes

See CPU comparison:
cpubenchmark.net/com…php?cmp[]=2440&cmp[]=809
The CPU is comparable to 4 year old i5's on performance, the TDP is lower though so should be better for battery life.

And GPU is okay:
videocardbenchmark.net/com…php?cmp[]=3192&cmp[]=2568
Again comparable to cheaper hardware that's a couple of years old.

I bought my Acer V5 nearly 2 years ago for £300, and its not far off the performance of this.

If you are looking for a good deal on a Dell, I recommend the Dell factory outlet, keep and eye on it, the stock changes all the time.

The next one down at £377, after discount,is better value (5th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-5200U Processor (3M Cache, up to 2.70 GHz), windows 10 installed)

BUT I`ve just sent one back because the noise of the left and right click was horrendous, very, very distracting every time you clicked.
This is a problem Dell will need to sort out because there`s no way you could put up with the click that loud.
Also a couple of weeks ago the discount code was 10% off, then it was £50 off and now it`s 12% off.

£377 after discount is cheap for what you`re getting intel core i5, dvd/cd, 1tb hard drive,8gb memory.
If anyone could suggest another laptop with the same spec and price, post it.

If it wasn`t for the damn clicking noise I would have been very happy with the Dell.
A great price for what you`re getting.
I still can`t believe Dell can`t fix the issue, if you google the problem was there two years ago.
Either people are putting up with it or they`re deaf.

The same spec acer is £449-99 at currys/pc world and that`s black.

I did consider the Dell, but thanks to your advice won't bother. The Acer is good.

Im actually probably looking for a full HD laptop, with good processor for sub £400. I guess anything else is a bonus.

I'm amazed it's so hard to find decent laptops in this price range!

I found this for £350
amazon.co.uk/dp/…C6/
The CPU is weaker but the GPU is about the same.

No one seems to be making laptops with the higher spec AMD APU's anymore.

Dell factory outlet is the place I'd be looking, e.g.
