lol at the picture that the salesman

This looks cold to me as not good value for money BUT not voting either way as I don't know what the competition (Voda, Tmobs, etc) are charging.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the tariffs don't look any different to me.

Rumours are the prices are reducing and, this summer, apple may release a cheaper model altogether.

I think i'm going to wait until then (as they may have improved the battery life too)

Nice to see O2 now including unlimited texts

Cold from me. The 18 month contract has lost half it's minutes.

I have been stalling, but this doesn't seem that much improved to me. I haven't voted cold though.

£249 for the 32gb phone, then £35 a month for 300 mins and unlimited texts!! I am not complaining about the initial outlay for the phone so much, but the contract is a little steep

Regardless of what anyone says, it is STILL a rip-off but then again Apple have always been rip-off merchants. Nice products but over the top prices and even in recession times :-)

Get off your soap box. Every sector of the market has premium products that cost more. Apple are that brand in this sector just like Mercedes or BMW are premium products in the car market and cost more.

Apple products cost more, but look better and have great user interfaces, and unless I'm very much mistaken, all of the other brands have jumped on the bandwagon with their own variations of iPhone.

I'm sick listening to whingeing Apple-bashers........:whistling:

Get it on PAYG from TESCO with TESCO credit card 440 quid (12 months interest free).
Pop in the 15£ (or 20£) o2 sim only card. It works by the way as I am using it.
Get 100 cashback
Total spent approx 500 - 570 for 16GB 3GS 12 months depending on which tarif u choose.
You cant go wrong here
Plus tEsco points (8£ in worth 32 in deals)
Plus they were giving a PAYG sim with unlimited WIFI and internet free for 12 months.
Dont buy these silly 18 -24 month contracts. not worth it

Why is there a picture of an Afgan there?

mine worked out 12 month 40 per month plus 90 cash for 32 gb only problem voda worse reception than orange 300 text 300 min unlimited text

he will be try to get reception from voda

The new unlimited texts allowances can no longer be used for MMS and sending texts whilst abroad. The 18 month tariffs tariff now cost £5 more / or you get less minutes. Cold from me.
