SIM Free iPhone 7 32GB Mobile Phone - Black £299 at Argos

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

iPhone 7 dramatically evolves the important aspects of the iPhone experience. It introduces an advanced new camera. The best performance and battery life ever in an iPhone. Immersive stereo speakers. The brightest, most vibrant iPhone display. Splash and water resistance. It looks every bit as powerful as it is. This is iPhone 7.

The a10 fusion chip brings new advanced power to iPhone, giving you the longest battery life ever and it's twice as fast as the iPhone 6.

The first iPhone with stereo speakers. Delivers twice the sound of iPhone 6s. Comes with earpods that have a lightning connector.

Apple have transformed the iPhone camera, adding optical image stabilisation, an /1.8 aperture and a six-element lens, making it excellent at shooting photos and videos in low light.

Argos often clear out brand new old models of phones for less than any other store in the country. The latest phone on clearance is an iPhone 7 for £299. The iPhone 7 was introduced in September 2016. It will presumably continue to receive iOS updates until September 2022 which means that it can safely be used for ecommerce until then.

I recommend picking this phone up from a store rather than having it delivered to your home.

You could recently get a brand new Mi Mix 3 5G handset for £239... Imagine paying £300 for a 4 year old phone, that had poor specs at release

The phone that this should be compared with is not the expensive iPhone 11 or 12. The phone that will be replacing the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 8 will be the very similar looking iPhone SE 2/ iPhone 9 which will be launched for £399 at the end of this month.

The problem with android phones is that they never receive security updates for more than 3 years. By contrast iPhones receive security updates for 6 years.
£30 cheaper brand new on Smartfonestore. At the time of typing, they have about 21 in stock.

You would not get more than a year out of this phone though, it has a battery that can only be described as horrendous (and that is when it’s brand new) and 32GB storage (excluding the OS) with no option to increase. Even if this was £300 for the iPhone 7 Plus it would be £100 too much.

This iPhone is brand new and so it’s battery will have no issues for at least 3 years. I bought a brand new pixel XL for £199 from Argos a year ago for my wife. The only problem that I have with my pixel is that software updates have now ended.

Yeah if you never use your phone... The battery in the iPhone 7 is notoriously even at 100% health. After a year of the average user you will get maybe 3 hours use before it will start powering off at 20%

Apple has never released a phone at this time of the year. It'll be in September.

The iPhone SE was released in March 2016. The new iPhone SE 2 will be released at the end of the month for £399. It will have an iPhone 11 cpu and one of the iPhone 11 cameras. iPhone 7s are being cleared out ahead of the iPhone SE 2 launch.

If true what human in their right mind would pay £300 for an iPhone 7 32GB knowing this?
I was thinking about upgrading to the iPhone SE 2 (9). But since its larger, and they have lost the earphone jack, I'll give it a miss. They could easily have lost the bezel and kept it in the same shell as the old SE and had a bigger screen.

The iPhone 7 includes free wired lightning headphones. They work as well as 3.5 mm jack headphones and help make the iPhone 7 water resistant.

I bought a 32 Gb iPhone 7 for £282 on prime day last year. It is still possible to charge it to 100% and it lasts all day. I think that the battery will stay good until September 2022 when security updates will end.

Why are the numbers going backwards? Is it to reflect the regression in iPhone technology?

Yes but why would you keep a phone beyond 3 years?, the battery on the iPhone will need replaced and the phone will begin to slow.
I religiously bought iPhones up until the prices got ridiculous so I jumped to android and realised they are much cheaper and just as good, in many cases better.

Just bought a new BMW and the Digital Key is Android only, so I'm glad I switched.

I’m not saying this is a good price, but the cost of an Android is a moot point for anyone who has thousands of pounds worth of App Store purchases, years of WhatsApp conversations and text messages they want to keep hold of, and other Apple devices they want their phone to integrate with.

Personally I don’t have any issue with swapping between iOS and Android as I’ve been doing it since 2008, but really no one who is fine with Android would be buying this anyway.

Carkey isn't available yet but it will work with a lot of BMW models with NFC key support. It's unlikely BMW would mention this in their manual.

No there is no Apple car key, it's Android only but same thing.
I asked the dealership if my wife could use her iPhone and they said no current plans.

The wife said since you've ordered a car I want a phone, so I've ordered a S20

The £399 iPhone 9 (SE 2) will sell better than the identically priced Pixel 3a because not only does it have a high end camera but it also has a high end CPU which the Pixel 3a lacks. Add the fact that the iPhone 9 (SE 2) will be supported for twice as long at 6 years and Apple will have a winner. youtube.com/wat…-wY

To be fair the pixel never really sold in numbers not really a comparison. A better comparison is the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G which is same price.

Who do you think you are? Such a pompous useless answer. Please get lost with your “fan boy” nonsense. Goodbye you immature idiot.
I reported the idiot for using the term “fan boy” as it is used as an offensive term. I’m not sure why some people feel the need to sit behind their keyboard throwing crass nonsense around. I have Apple, Microsoft, Linux and Android products but yet this imbecile wants to throw childish comments around.

Lmao, if you can’t accept you are wrong then that’s your problem. My statement was factual, yours is nonsense. The iPhone 7 is renown for a useless battery, it’s as simple as that. You made the assumption I was just throwing statements out there, I own the phone... Search Google and see how bad the battery is for yourself, do you even own one?...
