Yep works in some stores or, with some assistants at least!

I bought a Nano from argos today and no sign of the Itunes voucher in the store I used.........

The ipod was £104 due to the vat reduction, however maybe it was the advert for Currys you saw? as they have been all over tv advertising free £15 itunes and a £10 gift card for buying a nano........

will hold off voting till we have found out if this comes with £15 itunes voucher, if so i'll buy here and ebay the voucher, if not dixons is under £95 delivered with VAT3 code.

jase.2, cant see anything about that offer on curry's site either.

The curry's offer is well known. Think it may be instore only though.

Someone will have to confirm this deal tomorrow in store (maybe it will get updated online too)

More difficult to use this loophole, as it's more well known amongst the staff that it excludes the purchase of gift vouchers

This is a valid deal although not showing online, poster in the window of our store today confirms it. If you manage to get an assistant who doesn't know about not giving free voucher when buying vouchers, then you are lucky.

Also, I think the Currys deal has expired. At least that is what a customer told me tonight when he came in to Argos to purchase this deal.

so to confirm if we buy from argos in store we get a £10 argos voucher AND a £15 itunes voucher? Is the itunes voucher inside the ipod box or do they give you it seperately with the argos voucher?

Would also like to know this.

well the £10 off a £100 spend voucher is definately true: argos.co.uk/sta…htm

I've emailed Argos asking about the £15 itunes voucher asking if its true and if it also applies to online orders, hopefully someone can phone up, i hate phones!:P

dixons is cheapest with VAT3 code, around £94.98 or similar delivered but from argos it would be £106.70 with a £10 argos voucher and £15 itunes voucher which works out cheaper.

I bought this yesterday from argos, you do get both the itunes voucher and £10 voucher, this was in store. the staff didnt seem to know so i showed them the leaflet and they deducted £15 of teh ipod and added the itunes voucher on. It doesnt come inside the ipod its seperate so i would ask at the desk, on on collection of the ipod at the customer services.

where abouts are the leaflets as i dont wanna cross my fingers that my store has a sign up in the window as i'll be cycling about 7miles round trip.

Thank You For This ... Suddenly Feel Sick And Need To Go Home From Work :whistling:

Can anyone confirm the itunes voucher? I dont see any mention of it on the link.
I bought a nano yesterday from Argos but no mention of the itunes voucher.

It was advertised again on TV, so must be happening instore only.

I bought this deal yesterday from Argos - I got the free £15 iTunes Voucher AND the free £10 Argos Giftcard.

The FREE £15 iTunes voucher was advertised on a poster instore but didn't come up automatically on the till. When I mentioned it to the cashier she had to discount down the price of the iPod to account for the free £15 iTunes card. This offer is advertised on page 16 of todays Sun newspaper and expires on 7th December (Sunday).

The Currys offer for the free iTunes card is DEFINATELY expired as is their £10 gift voucher offer when you spend over £100.

Thanks to the OP.

:santa:

any chance you or someone else could take a photo of todays (thurs) Sun newspaper page 16 as i'll print it out and take it down to argos tomorrow, 5miles of cycling would be 1 hell of a wasted journey:(

Should be a instore leaflet with it advertised. Just say you saw it on TV too, as i have several times.

I got this deal yesterday. As some one above said, its 104 pounds somthing with the VAT reduction. The cashier didn't know anything about the iTunes voucher and had to ask the manager. It didn't scan through the till so they just took £15 off the price and scanned the iTunes card on top.
Worked out at less than £80 for the ipod when you factor in the vouchers.

Edit - oh i said i saw the advert on tv, so didn't have a voucher or anything.

This definately worked, got mine today, they weren't willingly offering up the itunes voucher, i had to ask for it, i'm thinking its company policy to not say anything and advertise on tv to get ppl in their stores. Anyway hot deal:)

got one thank you, there are big posters in store and in sayurdays papers too

Editor

Thanks for the reminder that this offer is still available ppoze

The free £15 I-Tunes voucher is now appearing online in the 'Special Offers' section when you are on the Ipod page. Although it states that the I-Tunes card is not available for home delivery, reserve and collect only.
