I think this is a fantastic deal for a great, sporty SUV. Highly specified car worth about £27,000.

2 year lease with advance payment of £1356.98 and monthlys of £226.16. Maintenance included so you never have to worry about services, tyres, brakes and even road tax! Straight with the biggest and most well known Leasing company Lex which is backed by Lloyds so no dealing with brokers and their fees.

4 year term works out a tad cheaper but personally I think its too long to commit... but each to their own? Ignore the dismal WhatCar review, I think this is from the prospective of business users who demands ever lower Co2 figures which this car is not best at. But otherwise almost every review I've seen has been very good.

That's a nice deal. Circa £275 a month all in with no upfront if they will give you a 1+23 option.

5k miles. to me that seems expensive.

a lot of car but also a lot of cash. voted hot but I'd prefer less spec and lower payment

Who the hell needs new brakes in the first 2 years? oO

Do they actually replace brakes, tyres etc?

Not a bad price but at only 10k miles I doubt that you'd need new tyres or brakes....

good to see a deal on a 2.0 awd auto as most deals are for the most basic option but I am not convinced if that is a good price?

The maintenance seems a bit overkill for a 2 year lease on 5k, whats the service interval on these?

Overall its not a terrible offer, mainly because its on the auto and I struggle to find anything decent on autos!

Was looking at a top-spec Suzuki Vitara AWD SZ5 at the dealer last week - great value at circa £20,000 but also sat in the Sportage and it's a whole step-up again (more like a new Jeep Cherokee) although I guess at the price difference it should be. These Kia's have come a long way...

£3/month cheaper here and only 3 months upfront with it:

Should add, it's without maintenance, but with only 3 months up front and 5000 miles a year, you're going to save big time. Already been said, you wont need brakes or tyres, so just one service and over £600 to play with.

I called and spoke to them and they've given me a quote cheaper than their website on 9+23 for £189.07 with maintenance! I wanted the maintenance for peace of mind really in case of punctures but if you don't want to then it's £19 a month cheaper. Believe me I've shopped around and this is the best you can get a high spec SUV in auto diesel by miles...

Photos are of the older shape, is this definitely for the latest 2016 model?

Yes new version, my one is a factory order and GT line doesn't exist on prev model

punctures are not usually include only wear and tear. you might get a contribution to punctures where tyres are worn but not worn out. check the small print.

wow that's expensive for a Kia , these are normally mega cheap

latest golf r deal was cheaper than this ....

also,

tax isnt part of maintenance

you wont need a service with 5k miles,

or tyres ,

take off maintenance and make it cheaper , seems like mediocre if not crap deal to me though - etto

oh and its diesel, make sure you take care of your dpf X)

Good deal if it was 10k

Yeah i hate these cars they lease out that explode when they hit 5k , you would think they would go further than that.

I challenge to find me a cheaper quote elsewhere like for like?

A dealership is asking for £8k deposit for a 3 year PCP for £250 a month. even called ALD who are people behind KIA finance and they are quoting £240 like for like. Believe me this is a stonking deal and even the lady I spoke to at ALD was shocked...

Pretty terrible cars to be honest. Awfull ride and handling, quite noisy and so plasticy inside. I couldn't wait to get back from the test drive!

Really?? You sure you were driving the Sportage? Or did they bungle you into a Dacia Duster without you realising?! :-p

Ha, yep, definitely a Sportage! I was expecting good things but was disappointed with it.

Diesel for 5k. Makes sense.

Sarcasm only works when it makes sense.

1. I prefer the torque and drive of diesel. 2. Though diesel cars have a higher OTR their residuals are better than petrol and therefore in most cases actually cheaper on contract hire so the argument of low mileage = petrol doesn't apply here. 3. Mpg on an auto petrol vs auto diesel is roughly 30% worse off.

Hmm, think before you try to be a smart ****?

ideally need to have lower co2 emissions to make it worth while.
